Loctite Threadlocker 242, 50mL Bottle, Blue

This really holds but you can still remove a bolt, nut, or screw. I don’t know why they do this but this is BLUE Loctite even though it comes in a red container. Blue holds bolts, nuts, screws, etc. locked in place but you can still remove them with a little muscle. The red version basically welds bolts, nuts, screws, or whatever in place permanently. The only way to release the bolt is to melt it with heat.

Locktite is to threadlock what xerox is to copiers. This stuff is perfect. The blue really works well to keep things held together and easy get apart later.

I am a big fan of Loctite blue. I like the large bottle and it was a good price. I would buy this item again.

Loctite is a necessary tool in mine or anybodys shop. India deals 365 had it at a good price. Excellent. So I purchased what I needed most. And when the time comes that ill be needing more Loctite, Ill consider Indiadeals365.

Its Loctite, whats not to love. Full disclosure, it only arrived yesterday (almost 2 weeks after purchase) and I have not yet used it but after inspection, it appears to be what its supposed to be. I say that because its from India which I was not aware of when I hastily clicked to buy. Dont care of course, other than for the idea of.... why India? I can drive 5 miles and get pick it up. Arrived in a cloth lined, paper envelope. Very nice, though unnecessary. Not a complaint but it is Loctite. Either way, assuming its what its supposed to be Im happy with the purchase. For the $30 saved, the 2 week delivery is certainly acceptable.

Ive used this many times before and have always relied on it to hold bolts or screws in their threads. This worked exactly like all of the previous ones. Holds great!
