From my understanding, this is just a branded version of the regular G502 Hero. It costs the same and aside from the color scheme, looks identical. All of the features and the like are exactly the same. The price is too. Since this is easily one of the most well regarded gaming mice on the market, you really can’t go wrong with whatever version of it you buy. Styling-wise, I like it a lot. The black, white and blue color scheme really pops and the KDA lines polish off the effect. It’s a good looking mouse that is pretty eye catching. I happened to pick up the KDA mousepad at the same time as this mouse and I love that they made some effort to coordinate the peripheral color schemes so well. Functionally, this is a great mouse. This mouse has a lot of features that serious gamers look for; a highly adjustable weight system, a mouse wheel that can switch between free roll to clicky, 11 programmable buttons, an ergonomic design, high precision tracking and Logitech’s gaming software. Others who are far more experienced and knowledgeable than I have already covered all of its pros and cons so I’m going to cherry pick the things that stood out for me. When I’m not testing the G502, I use a Corsair Glaive Pro, easily my favorite gaming mouse. After trying not a small number of high end mice, I settle on it as the best one for me. The reason is because I’m a palm gripper and it fits my larger hand really comfortably. The G502 is a bit narrower and has a slightly lower profile. Although it is be bit longer than the Glaive, it’s not quite as comfortable. I guess that comes down to preference in the end but it’s something that I noticed. Another thing that jumped out at me right away was how heavy the mouse wheel is. Since a lot of my time on the computer is not gaming, the mouse wheel gets used a lot. I think the fact that you can switch from clicky to free wheeling is a nice feature. I do think the clicky setting is a bit TOO clicky. It takes a lot more force to turn it than I’m used to from other mice and even though I’ve been using it regularly for a month or two, I’m still not totally used to it. Another thing that jumped out at me was the mouse cord. Now I’m not one of those purists who thinks all gaming peripherals need braided cables but the cable on this thing is really thin. It’s probably the thinest mouse cable I’ve ever encountered. The thinness makes it super flexible, which is good, but also more likely to break if wrapped up a lot or if it gets caught on something. I’m not a fan. Regarding software, G-hub. Meh. I totally get why people don’t like it. But I’m not one that programs buttons very often anyway (I’m too lazy to bother) so it’s not a big issue for me. Bottom line: There’ no question in my mind that the G502 is a professional grade mouse. It feels like it. As someone who is a casual gamer I don’t mine using it, but it isn’t and won’t be my first choice as a daily driver because I find another mouse more comfortable. That said, you really can’t go wrong with this mouse if you do choose it.

The Logitech G502 Hero K/DA High Performance Gaming Mouse goes above and beyond in all categories. The RGB has a standard, but impressive 16.8 million different colors, and the 25k DPI allows for the most accurate tracking when playing games. This and the G Pro are my favorite mice from Logitech.

Great mouse, for real. The white part kind of looks like an egg, which is neat. Scrolls pretty well, comfy palm fit - I have been crushing spreadsheets, pivot tables, noSQL, Tableau, Domo, all the queries. If you need a new mouse, and you like using those little balance weights to get swipe and scroll swoll, don’t wait another second. Gobble this guy up.

Only had it for a few minutes for now, but yeah some smart guy thought it was a great idea to put this in a bag with no cushioning at all instead of a box, so the box itself and a part of the plastic inside was banged up. Thanks Amazon, because I totally wanted the USPS experience for my $80+ package. Also like to point out the amazon packaging bragged about it being lighter than their smallest box, which I didnt care for since it didnt protect my product at all.

Im not a League of Legends K/DA fan but absolutely love the color theme on this mouse. It is clean looking, yet sleek and stylish. It is super lightweight and well built. The buttons are very responsive and have a nice tactical feel to them. The tracking is outstanding as well. It is smooth and sensitive. I really like the weight system in this mouse. It comes with 5 little weights in a case. Simply pop the bottom plate open and add the desired weight(s) according to your preference. The mouse itself is super light, so I added a couple of the weights to make it just perfect for me. The RGB light is nice but mostly in the G logo. The scroll wheel is pretty decent. It appears to be metal, albeit a little slippery for me. It can be set to clicking and free spinning with a button, which is nice. All in all, this is a great gaming mouse. Lightweight, comfortable and responsive. I love the black & white theme, which is clean and sleek. The weight system is another big plus for me. Im glad that I ordered it. It looks and works better than I expected. It is worth checking it out.

My sons said that the mouse is really high quality and quite large compared to others theyve used which they liked. They also commented on the thumb buttons as far as customization as well as lots of different weights you can add to make the mouse more to their liking. They said it felt nice in their hands. My oldest had no issue setting it up and optimizing it to his exact liking. Both love the game, so that sold it.

+1.5 months daily usage. Heavy, awkward and the scroll wheel is janky, clicking the scroll wheel is inconveniently hard to press without moving it up or down.

I suffer from carpal tunnel so I decided an ergo mouse was essential for me to be able to use a computer and/or game comfortably. Prior to getting a G502, I had just used whatever mouse I had laying around, usually a Lenovo or Microsoft mouse. Im not a pro gamer by any means, however I always assumed that gaming mice were gimmicky money grabs. I initially was looking at vertical mice which are supposed to be better for wrist comfort, but many people mentioned that a good ergo mouse can be just as good, so after researching I kept seeing the G502 making the top of many lists, so I decided to try it, as the price was reasonable (much cheaper than most decent vertical mice!) and I really liked how it looked. I initially got the normal G502, not the KDA version, and after a few days of using it normally I was amazed at the difference from the plain old normal mice I had been using, both from a comfort perspective, and at an accuracy and general ease of use perspective. The features that I really enjoy the most are the toggleable high precision button, and the ability to switch the scroll wheel from click to freewheel. I dont often switch the DPI between apps, but having the ability to do so, is appreciated. I didnt notice much difference when switching out the weights, but I ended up using a couple weights at the rear of the mouse and again while I am not a pro gamer, it is nice to be able to customize to your liking. Being able to lower the DPI while holding a button is an extremely nice feature, both for games and for general use when a little extra precision is needed. I see a lot of people complain about the GHub software however I have not had any issues to report so far. I appreciate the ability to save profiles on the mouse, so you can seamlessly switch devices, even to a Linux box and your settings carry over. My Wifes mouse failed so I let her borrow my G502, and she liked it so much, that I bought the KDA version for myself and she kept my original! She claims much more comfort and easier inventory management in games like Stardew Valley. Overall this is a solid mouse, offering lots of nice features for the price and its a joy to use, as well as being comfortable and attractive to look at. The RGB lights go well with my RGB keyboard. (thats worth something, right?)

This mouse is not perfect, but everything I do dislike about this mouse was fixable. Out of the box the weight was very off for me, but they included adjustable weights that you can insert into the bottom of the mouse to dial in the perfect feeling. When I first plugged the mouse in any game I would run would lag a lot. This was due to the pull rate being way to high on the mouse. After download the mouse software and adjusting the pull rate down slightly the experience was perfect. Overall it is a g502 with special branding. The buttons feel great, the scroll is responsive and tactile, and the mouse is bullet proof. If you looking for a great white mouse, or are a fan of league/KDA I would recommend this mouse.
