> 3 dayIve tested a lot of gaming keyboards from the big name brands like Razer, Steelseries and Corsair. I can confidently say this is maybe one the best I have tested to date. I have the tactile version, and I would say the switch feel, stabilizers, keycaps and sound of the board is maybe the best Ive tried from the larger brands. Compared to the Logitech G915, I just feel this is a step above that now with the features it comes with. The cloud wrist rest isnt my taste as as 34 year old guy, but it is comfy and the foam is nice and dense. I probably havent enjoyed a gaming focused board like this since the Ducky One 2, and this board is a bit more feature rich although that comes at a price. The wireless works great, and I noticed no hiccups in game. I dont have much to complain about other than I hope Logitech offers a few more color plate and keycap options (same red as the new GPX Superlight please!), and I think the asking price is a bit steep. I could easily recommend this board on sale, and I might say this board is geared more towards a casual gamer. If you primarily play FPS games I would say get the linear switches.

> 3 dayThe Logitech G715 wireless mechanical gaming keyboard is a clean tenkeyless 87 key design. Has an attractive white frame and rgb lighting. The keys are backed by what Logitech calls tactile (on my unit) GX Brown switches which feel similar to my Das keyboard Cherry MX Browns, though they take more force to bottom out and make slightly hollower sound. Actuation seems to be a bit more resistant than the MX Cherry Browns which I suppose could be more tiring over time. Still, the GX Browns works well enough for long periods though personally for gaming I prefer a MX Red or Blue. Overall, the typing response is satisfying. The keys are consistent and is helped by the sturdiness of the frame itself. No creaks or rattling anyway. The base keyboard is white, but you can order other color cover plates to hot-swap as you like, and the process is pretty easy since the plate is attached via magnets. Its a really sleek looking keyboard, though I wish the round top-level media control buttons were also uniformly white instead of their light blue color. Theres a nice roller up at the top that controls volume that is quite handy. Its a well-designed keyboard. The rgb is pretty standard, with 5 dimming levels and various static/dynamic color settings. The rgb lighting extends to the bottom of the keyboard where a strip of leds wraps the underside perimeter of the keyboard, lighting up your desk during use. Very cool. The Logitech G Hub software is easy to use and is lightweight and notifies you immediately to install firmware updates. You have a solid amount of RGB color settings, where you can get really granular and manually set the colors of certain regions of the keyboard. For example, if you want the underside light to be a static green while the keys to be a dynamic rainbow? Go for it, the software will let you. Within the software you can also activate Game Mode, which lets you deactivate certain keys during gaming, to avoid hitting the wrong buttons during an intense round of whatever game. The ergo wrist pad is probably the most unorthodox (and divisive) thing about this keyboard. Its included in all versions of the G715. Its a cloud. Really, it looks like a cloud. Once you get past the design, youd find that its a standard synthetic-leather wrapped foam with good wrist/palm support. Overall this is a great stylish keyboard with that is really only odd design-wise for its cloud-shaped palm rest. The keyboard itself is of a quality construction and is pleasant to use if you dont come from the elaborate world of custom mechanical keyboards or really high-end gaming boards. For the price range Id say its worth it for the aesthetics more than the function. Its a clean looking board. Recommended.

Greater than one weekFor my latest keyboard review, I review a higher end mechanical keyboard and thats the Logitech G715 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. The keyboard is part of the Aurora Collection and aimed at gamers who want a trendy, cool looking keyboard with premium accessories from Logitech. IF anything, Logitech has made a strong name for itself in the business and gaming industry for producing quality, premium and affordable accessories. May it be wireless keyboards/mouse, web cameras, speakers, its a brand that many people use, may it be business or home. And while for business, Logitech are in the top echelons of brand names and their brand tends to equate with quality. Logitech has been in the gaming industry for a long time, but with competition being fierce, they have been trying to find ways to reach the hip consumer. And the result is through the Aurora Collection, you can get wireless headsets, wireless mouse and mechanical keyboard via wired or wireless and more. Now, the Logitech G715 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard instantly attracts me because I do prefer white keyboards over black, gunmetal and silver. This is cool for the company because Logitech products are often black or gray. So, by creating a keyboard with soft, warm pastel lighting, I am enjoying the G715 a lot. Granted, the cloud based wrist rest is not my style, so unfortunately its not something I will be using. But others may dig it! The keyboard uses doubleshot PBT keycaps and this is important to mention because for those who have used Logitech keyboards for business use know one of my pet peeves that I see in business use is seeing many Logitech keyboards missing letters (possibly caused by those who eat at their desk and hold their food and type, I tend to see it as caused by greasy fingers). But these type of keycaps will not have faded letters because they are doubleshot keycaps and the letters are see through, so the lighting will illuminate the letters of the keyboard. As for the RGB lighting, as mentioned, the keycaps have lighting but also the bottom of the keyboard. The keyboard utilizes Logitech GX Brown Switches, so this is for those who prefer to have that inbetween of red (silent) and blue clicky button presses. To be truthful, I have been utilizing this keyboard for several weeks now and because of its smoothness, I have had a really easy time of shifting towards gaming to work and this keyboard has made my work so much easier, because everything is quite smooth. Its a major plus for me! But while you can change colors through various keys, the Logitech G Hub software that you can download from the official company website, provides a much better way to control this keyboard for lighting or programming. It comes with 10 presets and two effects on device such as Verticool and Ocean Wave courtesy of Logitechs LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting technology. There is a Freestyle mode in the settings which allows people to customize their colors and then there is animations that allow for 16 types of animations and you can add more. But what I love about these lights is that its the kind of lighting that other keyboards tend to not do. For example, of the many mechanical keyboards I have reviewed, its always the same colors, RGBY and variations. But Ocean Wave pretty much reminds me of an island/ocean colors with the blue, the light soft baby blues and the light tan browns. But for those who like The Matrix datafall, rainbow like caterpillar, there are numerous animations included. Now people who want a fully customizable keyboard, the G715 allows for commands, keys and actions, macros, system functions. So, those who want to customize their keys, may it be for gaming or for work, such as video or audio editing where you want to add shortcuts, the G Hub software and the the G715 allows for a lot of customization, which is a big selling point of this keyboard. And there is a Game Mode which allows you do select keys that you dont want to accidentally hit while gaming. So, Game Mode can be activated and customized. The only buttons that cant be customized are the media buttons above the function keys. The media buttons allow you to change the brightness levels of the lighting of your keyboard, also to switch on Game Mode and a button to make your keyboard discoverable for Bluetooth pairing. You can easily have access to go back or forward if you listen to music on your favorite music program. You can pause and also turn sound off and non. There is a spinning wheel on the upper right corner, to adjust the volume as well. Pairing the keyboard to be wireless via Bluetooth was simple. And the keyboard does have LEDs on the top of the buttons, one to indicate if your rechargeable battery on your keyboard is going dead (you can view percentage through the G HUB software as well) and you need to plug in the cable to charge. There is also a Caps Lock LED light, to let one know if CAPS LOCK is on. But yes, you can utilize the keyboard as a wireless or a wired keyboard (another cool factor is that its USB-C to USB-A cable, or you can use the 2.4 GHz wireless USB-A dongle if you do not want to use Bluetooth), so the choice is there for consumers depending on your usage. And like other Logitech keyboards, you do have a wireless extender. Another plus, because if you have used Logitech keyboards in the work setting, you know how often you need to replace your AA batteries. This keyboard is rechargeable! And the keyboard is said to last up to 25-hours with max brightness. But if you are power user, go ahead and plug the cable right before you sleep or keep it on. Overall, the Logitech G715 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is a very cool keyboard but being a Logitech mechanical keyboard, you will be paying for the brand and a premium price for they keyboards functions. Its around $200 for the keyboard and around $300 if you want the keyboard and wireless mouse. And the price is quite painful for those who love the features but were only looking to spend under $100. But if you want a mechanical keyboard that is fully customizable, may it be programming of the keys or changing out the switches, with solid programming for the lights and animation, this is an awesome keyboard for those who need an awesome Bluetooth/wireless keyboard for work and gaming. The Logitech G715 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is recommended!

> 3 dayIts a pretty good keyboard. Hard to get it wrong really... Youve seen one TKL board youve seen them all, ya know? The only things setting this one apart are the wireless functions and dedicated media controls up top, with the volume roller. No FN layer means there is no need to memorize what key does what when you change caps. I am aware there is an FN key on this board but Im ignoring it for my usage. Probably for macros anyway. Also the volume roller is backlit, but not the G logo (theres a magnet behind it holding the face plate on so its forgivable). Also the spacebar only has the one LED. Custom spacebar users beware. Seriously. They advertise SIXTEEN LEDS for the perimeter lighting, but cant spare two more?? There are cheaper boards with the dedicated media controls and the roller, but they either dont come in tactile/clicky, are low profile (incompatible with keycap collections), lack wireless connectivity or are from some brand with shady software that I wouldnt trust on my computer. I was going to get the G915 TKL until I saw this one. A little bit less in price, but will cost more when buying the new faceplates so... huh. Anyway, I share my computer with my wife who instantly recommended this board. Being confident in my masculinity, we went for it. Now I know she just wanted the cloud palm rest. Something I wish I knew about the switches: The listing calls the tactile option GX Brown. Brown switches, even non-cherry, have always had 45g actuation force across the board- BUT NOT THESE. They felt super stiff when I got the board and thats because its 60g to get the bump, another 50g to register. A quick scan of the listing didnt show this information anywhere. Use that one search engine and youll get a hit from Logitechs own website with charts and stuff. A two hundred dollar purchase should warrant such research so... Cant get too mad. Im still taking off a star because of this and the single LED under the spacebar. Wireless Connections: Everything just works. The dongle doesnt have any noticeable input lag, nor does the bluetooth. Also I checked to see if the keyboard works with the cable only and it does. An interesting thing to note is that while in bluetooth mode, some lighting options are disabled. I dont know what other limitations are present in bluetooth mode but its worth knowing. Also, G Hub recognizes the keyboard in all three pairing modes. Software for other unnamed wireless keyboards Ive had only recognize wired mode. Yuck. Quality: There is no creaking when bending, there is no deck flex and the keycaps are reasonably thick, instead of the paper thin ABS seen on other big brand boards. Still, I tossed them in a bag and put on my own immediately upon receiving. Also invest in double sided tape or rubber grippy feet if you want to use the cloud palm rest, it slides all over the place. Speaking of which the palm rest is surprisingly comfortable for being so thin. Its made of that fake leather stuff and its so cute my wife already confiscated it for her own usage immediately upon coming home and seeing it. Price: Yes its a bit high, but its a gaming keyboard. You dont NEED it and there are cheaper options that do an arguably better job with completely different gimmicks. Also the palm rest is 35 bucks alone and Logi has to recoup the cost of all those LEDs somehow. If you like the aesthetics and have a credit card, you cant go wrong. You do you, dont listen to the haters.

> 3 dayFor those of you who like non-clicky clacky keys, or need something muffled for online meetings, this is a comfortable and compact keyboard which reliably connects to my M1 MacBook Pro. I don’t know why it doesn’t allow itself to connect over the provided USB C power cable but requires the use of the USB A dongle for wireless connection. Comes with a squishy cloud like palm rest which adds to the comfort. So, not my normal preferred kind of keyboard but a good execution of this kind.

> 3 dayI first learned about Logitech Gs Aurora Collection from watching a Twitch livestream. Was very excited to be given the opportunity to review the G715 (and G705 mouse) through the Vine program. Upon opening the box, I was surprised to find that Logitech included the cloud palm rest. I thought it was just being shown in the keyboards product photos for fun, but its really nice that it doesnt have to be purchased separately if you get any keyboard from the Aurora collection. But since I was not aware of this, I had actually pre-ordered the palm rest on Logitechs website and been using it for a few days before receiving the G715 and G705. There have been mixed reactions to it, but its actually been great for me as someone who has really weak and thin wrists. The cushioning really helps with preventing straining and is just the right amount of softness. And yes I do worry about it getting dirty, but I dont eat or snack while using the computer, so its not a major issue for me. As for the G715 itself, I was disappointed with how heavy it is. As mentioned I have weak wrists, so the weight of the keyboard is a major drawback. But build quality is good overall. Charging took over two hours and I first tried to connect via Bluetooth. Having connected the G705 mouse first to my PC, I thought there wouldnt be any issues connecting the keyboard. WELLLL... Maybe its a Windows 11 issue, but it just would NOT detect the G715. I then tried removing the G705 and that finally worked... sort of. Now that the keyboard was connected via Bluetooth, the mouse wasnt being detected. After several hours of trying to connect BOTH devices via Bluetooth, I ultimately gave up and am using the USB dongle for the mouse, and only the keyboard is on Bluetooth. Now again Im not sure if its an issue with my PC or Windows 11 or Logitech, but this was another major drawback. I dont even have many devices on Bluetooth, so why I cant use two devices from the same company on the same connection is mindboggling. Going into usage, the keys are difficult to press for me. Im usually a fan of linear keys, but Vine only had the tactile version available so I didnt have a choice. But in my experience I dont think tactile keys were this difficult to use? The sound doesnt really bother me, but as someone who has small hands and weak wrists, its not ideal to be typing for several hours a day on a keyboard that has such stiff keys. Overall the aesthetics are nice for the keyboard and collection, but Logitech really needs to get actual gamers to design their products. I thought this would be an improvement from all their other Logitech G products Ive tried (like the mediocre StreamCam), but they still have a long way to go if they really want serious gamers to buy their products. For $200 USD there are far better gaming keyboards out there. With that money I would just get a cheaper keyboard and the cloud palm rest since thats $20 USD (and hope it will be made in more colors!).
