Logitech G715 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with LIGHTSYNC RGB, LIGHTSPEED, Tactile Switches (GX Brown), and Keyboard Palm Rest, PC/Mac Compatible - White Mist

> 3 dayThe Logitech G715 wireless mechanical gaming keyboard is a clean tenkeyless 87 key design. Has an attractive white frame and rgb lighting. The keys are backed by what Logitech calls tactile (on my unit) GX Brown switches which feel similar to my Das keyboard Cherry MX Browns, though they take more force to bottom out and make slightly hollower sound. Actuation seems to be a bit more resistant than the MX Cherry Browns which I suppose could be more tiring over time. Still, the GX Browns works well enough for long periods though personally for gaming I prefer a MX Red or Blue. Overall, the typing response is satisfying. The keys are consistent and is helped by the sturdiness of the frame itself. No creaks or rattling anyway. The base keyboard is white, but you can order other color cover plates to hot-swap as you like, and the process is pretty easy since the plate is attached via magnets. Its a really sleek looking keyboard, though I wish the round top-level media control buttons were also uniformly white instead of their light blue color. Theres a nice roller up at the top that controls volume that is quite handy. Its a well-designed keyboard. The rgb is pretty standard, with 5 dimming levels and various static/dynamic color settings. The rgb lighting extends to the bottom of the keyboard where a strip of leds wraps the underside perimeter of the keyboard, lighting up your desk during use. Very cool. The Logitech G Hub software is easy to use and is lightweight and notifies you immediately to install firmware updates. You have a solid amount of RGB color settings, where you can get really granular and manually set the colors of certain regions of the keyboard. For example, if you want the underside light to be a static green while the keys to be a dynamic rainbow? Go for it, the software will let you. Within the software you can also activate Game Mode, which lets you deactivate certain keys during gaming, to avoid hitting the wrong buttons during an intense round of whatever game. The ergo wrist pad is probably the most unorthodox (and divisive) thing about this keyboard. Its included in all versions of the G715. Its a cloud. Really, it looks like a cloud. Once you get past the design, youd find that its a standard synthetic-leather wrapped foam with good wrist/palm support. Overall this is a great stylish keyboard with that is really only odd design-wise for its cloud-shaped palm rest. The keyboard itself is of a quality construction and is pleasant to use if you dont come from the elaborate world of custom mechanical keyboards or really high-end gaming boards. For the price range Id say its worth it for the aesthetics more than the function. Its a clean looking board. Recommended.

> 3 dayI love the keyboard. I got the linear red switches and they feel great for productivity and gaming, but there is a few things to consider when purchasing this keyboard. It is a very pricey keyboard. At this price point I would at least expect to be able to switch my switches in the future, but this is not possible. Also keep in mind that rgb customization is very limited. I hope logitech adds more editable custom profiles for the keyboard in the future. If you arent concerned about those things and got the cash to spare, this is definitely a solid choice though. The battery is pretty solid and theres not many good options that are also wireless in the market.

> 3 dayChoices were SO LIMITED when looking for white keyboards, but Im so happy with this purchase!!! It looks perfect on my desk, works like a dream, and it was very easy to change the colors of each key. The keys are sensitive and very responsive when gaming (huge difference from my previous keyboard where I had to press the keys hard), I feel like its really upped my game. Im just in love!!

> 3 dayMaking a keyboard in 2022 without exchangeable switches and selling it for $200 is insane. You dont need to be an enthusiast to want to have a good quiet keyboard with an aluminum frame and other modern features. I bought Azoth (also expensive) and recommend you consider other kb. There is not much for $200 here.

> 3 dayFor wireless you have to charge it! So even though it’s wireless I end up just leaving my keyboard plugged in so it doesn’t die. But I still love the keyb regardless!

> 3 dayThis keyboard is like a modern, silent version of the old mechanical keyboards that I grew up with, and I love it. The keys are full size with silent mechanical GX brown switches and customizable RGB backlighting. Button response is quick and seemingly lag free using either the USB dongle or bluetooth connection. There isn’t much to set up for basic typing, but you’ll need to download Logitech’s G-Hub app to create macros, customize buttons, and of course, customize the lighting.

> 3 dayI wanted this keyboard for a while now so when I was finally able to get it I didn’t even think twice, I had these cinnamoroll key caps I really wanted to use so I ended up replacing the ones the keyboard came with’ with them. Only thing I do wish is that the backlight or rgb lights of the keyboard was a bit brighter but overall it’s great, even the sound of me clicking is so satisfying. I went with linear because I feel as though it’s much quieter but also smoother… hard to explain but if you know anything about switches you’d understand just what I mean! LOL. The wrist rest is an adjustment to get used to since I’ve never really used one, usually when i’m playing anything FPS it makes the use of my hands feel slower in a way so i won’t be using it. for visuals and having it be compact it was worth the value

> 3 dayI cant give this a full 5 stars only because I feel the value is a bit high. Overall, this checks all the boxes for an amazing keyboard. Brown mechanical switches with great feel, amazing lighting, volume wheel, changeable light and good media controls, (not great media controls, because you have to reach over the F keys just in front of them and I tend to push those just as much as the key I am trying to push.) The only issue is that this is a very pricey keyboard that doesnt really add much over my hyper-x keyboard I was using before this. I was using Aqua mechanical keys that Kingston designed, apparently, and I love that keyboard. This keyboard is barely a upgrade from that keyboard but it is a upgrade none the less, just harder to justify with a 199 price tag verse the 89 my HyperX TKL keyboard was. This has more lighting options, with a volume wheel I love, but that feels like the end of the road, and maybe would justify the additional 30-50 dollars I suppose, but not nearly 110. If I had to say though, I feel like the price will come down eventually, and I do not hate the keyboard as it is amazing! However, you have to want this look to justify the cost and maybe that is why it is the price it is. I find that the keys are well spaced, it feels intuitive to type on as I am writing this review using the keyboard now. The amount of pressure for the keys feels great, and sometimes I am tricked into thinking I didnt press a key when I actually did so a simple correction has to be mad. There is also a magnetic face cover that came on this keyboard that I cant for the life of me think of any reason it is removable like this. When you remove the cover, you can see that a inset steel body is inside which is probably why the keys feel so amazingly secure while the keyboard is much heavier than my HyperX. Maybe you can customize the faceplate later and that is why you can remove it now but this is only speculation on my part. I can recommend this keyboard as I love it, however, you really need to want this look. There are competent keyboards and much lower costs, but I can approve of the functionality. To get the most out this, you do need to install their G-Suite. I did not install it as I did not need to do more, but there is more there.

> 3 dayI love this keyboard and how the color change and the different setting it comes with. I highly recommend.
