LTGEM Case for Samsung T5/T3/T1 Portable 250GB 500GB 1TB 2TB SSD USB 3.1 External Solid State Drives

I use it for my Samsung T5. Its bigger than I expected, but provides just enough room to comfortably fit the two cables inside. If like me you need only one cable (either type-c or type-c) for your workflow, you might prefer a more compact design. But I love the protection the case provides. The material feels high quality and sturdy enough to withstand accidental drops.

I bought this to go along with a new Samsung T5 External SSD that I purchased back in December of 2018, and its currently end of April 2020. Pros: - Its got a surprisingly soft interior in combination with a hard outer shell that gives me the impression that it offers great protection for my drive. The T5 SSD I purchased came with two cables--A USB-A to USB-C and.a USB-C to USB-C, and they both fit in the compartment provided in this case. - I love the two slots on the sides of the SSD compartment since it allows me to easily take out the SSD from either side or with my thumb and index finger, should I wish to do so - The zipper has been very smooth til this day and hasnt given me any troubles so far. - The outer shell is made up of a material that provides a good amount of grip, so you wont have to be afraid of carrying it around holding it that way. Alternatively, it comes with a clip that you can easily attach to a hook or something for easy carry. - Price is fair--I believe at the time of writing this is still one of the cheapest cases on the market Cons: I could not come up with any cons for this product. Its quite a simple product, so there isnt much room to go wrong here :) TLDR: Pretty great case with no cons, protects your SSD well with a soft inner shell and hard outer shell and also has room to store two small cables in the top compartment

This case fits my expensive T5 2GB drive perfectly and, so far as I know, it’s the only case specifically designed for this drive. I will say, however, that I have any number of portable drive cases that are build to a much higher standard in both quality and workmanship. So, unless you can find a custom fitting case out there that’s of higher quality, this is your only choice. It isn’t bad, just not as nice as it really should be for the money. Recommended.

I recently purchased this to hold my Samsung T5 SSD (500GB). This case is awesome for travel with it and the protection that it provides. It also has a nice little storage area within the case that holds the two cables I typically use to connect to either my laptop or PC. Definite buy if you have a Samsung SSD.

Well designed to hold my Samsung T-1 SSD safely

Perfect case for the Samsung external portable SSD. After having lost data with portable hard drives that are not travel or shock resistant, I decided to splash out on the Samsung SSD. This case fits perfectly and I feel the hard drive is very well protected. The case is compact and sturdy and seems to be well made. The little netted pocket is perfect for holding the cable and a couple of extra USB memory sticks.

The slim exterior is textured, making it easy to hold on to. The outside of the case is semi hard & the inside is padded, which protects the SSD card if drop. The inside pocket to hold the cord is a nice feature. I would like for it to expand just a little bit more. Overall, I am very pleased with it.

I was very happy when I saw the case in person, it looks great. However, the zipper is just terrible; it came stuck, and trying to open the case took me an hour. At last I put on it some vaseline and it opened with force. Its really a shame because the case looks sturdy and inside it looks like really high quality and the T5 fits in just great. But when I close the zipper, its impossible to open without great effort. I may try to put vaseline on the entire zipper chain and move it until it becomes smooth. I hope it works... but it shouldnt come like this. I give it 2 stars because I have hope it will become functional once I manage to fix the zipper.
