> 24 hourIn the past, I have been using belt buckle-type luggage tags. Over the past few years, they have managed to become detached and vanish from checked luggage on airline flights. I needed replacements. These luggage tags were the answer. The initial (in red) stands in bright contrast to the background (in black). While no larger than a standard luggage tag, it is much more visible. The stainless steel loop is braided and very strong. It takes about 20 twists to fully tighten the screw-in clasp (it helps to follow the instructions and have the two ends laying down flat when tightening the clasp). These are just great.
