> 3 dayI bought these to replace the wheels on an older ~26-27 Kirkland suitcase that was from circa 2000. The two inch wheels work, but the axles that come with these wheels are only 1.5 long, and the bolts that screwed into the axle were too short. The old axle was 2 long, but the old axles had to be cut off (the wheels were riveted in) and besides the cutting, the old axles were too thick for these new wheels. I couldnt find any wheels that came with longer axles (1.5 seems standard), so I bought round top machine screws (#10-32 X 1 inch), and those screws provided enough extension to use the axles that came with the wheels. Looks like it will work, and seems to hold. If it loosens, Ill just use some lock tight.

Greater than one weekI have an old Costco Kirkland 27 inch Expandable Upright Carry-On from about the year 2000. The wheels are held in with rivets, not screws. After drilling out the old rivets I found that these replacements are not compatible with my suitcase. Mine have much longer mounting shafts with a thick collar built into the wheel. Even getting a collar from the hardware store wont work, this collar needs to be attached to the bearing shaft of the wheel. Otherwise this is a good quality wheel replacement. Disappointed I have to junk an otherwise still excellent suitcase thats no longer made.

> 3 dayYup. These are wheels. They fit nicely and roll very well. Better than the TravelPro factory wheels. Lets hope the airline does not break these as well! The only challenge was to find the hidden screw under the little piece of plastic covering the axle on the luggage wheel housing itself. Once the plastic cover is popped-off, the screw which holds the axle in place can be removed and the axle slides out, dropping the old wheel. Reverse to install. There are plastic bushings to be inserted in the wheel if the axle is of a diameter smaller than the hole in the wheel hub.

> 3 dayThese wheels with the supplied bushings replaced the broken wheels in a existing suitcase.
