Luigi amiibo (Super Smash Bros Series)

> 3 dayIt seems to have pretty good build quality. The sword is stiff, and doesnt seem like itll bend at any point. As for the paint, it looks pretty good besides where the glue is visible, but its a very small figure that were definitely rushed through an assembly line in some factory in China full of presumably underpaid workers. That makes me feel bad about saying anything negative about it, but I am reviewing the item for what it is. I dont like it when sculptures, statues and figures are shaded. Did the Romans paint shading onto their statues? Light will cast its own shadow onto the figure. Links hat, for instance, looks dirty, but its actually just painted on shading. I know that Amiibo arent museum pieces (although I can imagine some archaeologist finding some 1,000 years from now and displaying them in a museum, wondering what they represent and theorizing myths from ancient Nintendo Power magazine articles with maps of Hyrule and game hints) but its just tacky in my opinion. Oh, and that yellow pillar... just... no. Nintendo should have stuck with what they advertised before this one was released. Im not a big Amiibo user. Im just a big Legend of Zelda fan. I have some Legend of Zelda Amiibo, action figures, toys and tattoos. This is just a part of my collection. I havent found Amiibo to be that useful in Super Smash Bros. Maybe theyll have some cool functionality in Breath of the Wild and other titles.

> 3 dayNot really sure what to say about an amibo... its a plastic figure that hooks to my sons game. Dosent do a whole lot else, tried to teach it some tricks.. nothing, just stands there looking all link-ish... lazy

Greater than one weekNow, I cannot rate how well my Zelda Amiibo works as thats not what I purchased her for. I dont even own the consoles required for use. I bought this Amiibo because it was better than paying hundreds of dollars for a proper Twilight Princess figure! $38 vs $300. The choice is clear. The details are great for what its worth. Its not as beautiful as Figma, but Im very happy with what I got. It does feel somewhat fragile. Its best to not drop these as I fear theyll break. Thats why Im rating this 4/5 stars.

> 3 dayI enjoy the Fire Emblem series, but Nintendo hasnt given these amiibos much support outside the core title. So at the heart they are really just cool display pieces.

> 3 dayOh Nintendo, please dont fail completely! The Amiibo character of Luigi is nice looking and it works fine with the WiiU pad BUT it only provides ONE outfit and the WiiU game it works with is just lame. It unlocks old Nintendo NES game and a limited number of play levels but if you already own those games on the virtual console then your SOL and it isnt worth the bother. I still like the little stature but the concept of unlocking what you already own is very LAME!
