> 3 dayAt first I thought that this may just be a picture error seeing this in GameStop and having it be clear plastic; I was hoping that it would be the clear plastic and instead it was the yellow plastic. While this doesnt really effect anything, it is kind of a disapointment.

Greater than one weekMy son likes to collect amiibos so I bought this as a gift for him and he really liked it! It works as intended and looks great!

Greater than one weekI got my Pit amiibo used. Amiibo figures are region free. They are sharable and re sellable. What I mean is you can still use an old figure as long as the NFC chip inside isnt damaged. When I scanned Pit his original owners data was still on the figure. The only parts I changed was the owner name and the figures nickname. Cute. He looks just like his model from Kid Icarus Uprising. I dont have Smash Bros but I do have other games that are compatible with amiibo. Pit worked fine with them. Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild Mega Man 11 Style Savvy Fashion Forward Style Savvy Stlying Star. I dont have a Wii U but I have a Switch and a *new* 3ds XL. Pit worked fine with them.

> 3 dayExcellent product too, I love Palutena and its so detailed and beatiful (aside from the face xD) that i fell in love for her..again. The only detail is that her box got damaged on the way, good thing I dont care about not opening amiibo, i actually play with them OUTSIDE of their box so..it doesnt not matter.

> 3 daySo disappointed. I thought he would come with an action button that plays his iconic Hadoken line. I guess Ill just use him for the NFC feature. Thanks Mr. President.

> 3 dayWhat I like: These amiibos are excellent as figurines. I am especially impressed with the Samus and Star Fox quality. Very high levels of detail with mixtures of glossy/matte. True to the spirit of the characters in their poses. Excellent little representations of how I spent my childhood. What I dont like: As a toy-to-life sort of application (a la skylanders) they really lack any meaningful integration into a game. Some are incredibly hard to find. Overall: The Super Smash Bros integration is fun with an almost pokemon-esque feel. They have great build quality and are very collectible, but with the limited integration there isnt enough to warrant more than your absolute favorites. The problem with that sentiment is that some are incredibly rare. If you are a huge Punch-Out or Animal Crossing fan you can bet that you are going to be paying much more than retail to get your amiibo because of Nintendos inconclusive and wishy-washiness on their discontinued stance.
