Using it to cut holes for hydroponics rails. Makes hole just big enough for trade gallon pots to fit in. Only cutting about 1/8” through the top of rails but does the job and it includes an extra arbor that fits my Lennox hole saws too.

I own many whole saws but I needed one 10 in diameter. This hole saw assembly is not like any other that I have ever owned. Product kept coming apart while in use. No directions with this product at all. No paper work what so ever. I consider this a waste of my time and money.

Hole saw itself is ok but set screw that holds drill bit is too small and threads are terrible. Does not have a retainer or set screw to lock the holesaw blade so it unscrews itself constantly.

We used this to drill holes in a wooden beam to install lighting. It worked very well

This is a great bit for the price. I have the 6 1/4 and a 4 1/4 both were used on putting lights in my ceiling works way better than the carbide bit you get at Lowe’s it creates less dust, but make sure you use a dust bowl and it’s virtually dustless. Just have to go a little slow when starting but after that you can go full blast and it doesn’t catch well for me it did it anyways.

Product arrived with all items needed. Was easy to use. Quality seems above average and cant beat the price.

My house is old. I have installed LED lights in most of the rooms at this point, and these hole saws never seem to last too long. This one worked fine for its purpose, and was cheaper than the one I bought before from Home Depot. So that helps. For context, all of the ceilings in my home are double layered drywall, with a layer of wire mesh in between, which is beyond annoying. The teeth on these saws always get worn down fairly quickly because of this. Im sure that eventually I will have to replace this one as well. The last project I did was in my living room, which required 10 lights. I used this saw for about 6 of the 10 holes needed. The teeth on this one still seem good so far.

The diameter is in mm not inches. It is close to 2 7/8, but not exact.

I bought the 155mm/6.1 in size to cut the exact hole needed for the Ensenior 6 Pack 6 Inch Ultra-Thin LED Recessed Ceiling Lights (which I really like). This hole saw makes the job much easier. As noted by others, if not careful, this saw can catch and give some nasty kickback. Also, the 2nd arbor that comes with the larger sizes is really nice in its design using a secondary ring to move 2 pins into the bottom of the hole saw; if only the pins matched the holes in the saw so that it could be used, this would definitely be a 5-star item. As it is, Im hoping the arbor will fit something else that I have.
