These bulbs look beautiful on my Sputnik light fixture. 2 of the bulbs came broken but customer service was very quick to replace them ASAP.

Update: I’ve used 4 of these so far in a 3 bulb lamp. Two of the bulbs have spontaneously exploded within a couple of hours lifetime. Sometime after I turn the lights off, the outer glass bulb explodes. The inner LED still works but live metal wires are exposed. Original Review: Im very disappointed in these bulbs. I bought them to install in a 3-bulb bathroom vanity light. Its only a small 11 x 11 bathroom with the vanity in one corner, but 3 bulbs are not bright enough to use the mirror right below the light, let alone light up the bathroom (I do not have a dimmer switch, so its full power). For starters, the bulbs I received were 4W each, not 6W that the manufacturer is telling people in the Q&A. There is NO WAY each of these puts out the equivalent light of a 40W incandescant bulb. If you notice the photos posted on the Amazon page, you can see how dim the rooms look. I am convinced they are intended for decoration only, not to be functional. A string of LED Christmas lights would have been cheaper and brighter.

Looks like four yellow hot filaments, but is actually nice cool strings of LEDs. Great look with the pool table light fixture.

I like the look of Edison bulbs and in fact have the regular Edison bulbs in several places in my home. When I saw these dimmable LED versions, I thought I would give them a try. Made in China, these bulbs come snuggled in a foam insert that is made just for the bulbs. I got a package of 8 and they shipped just fine with no breakage. These bulbs are rated at 40 watts but use only 4 watts of electricity which is a win in my book. I used them in my bathroom fixture because I wanted something different than those round frosted bulbs that you see all of the time in these fixtures. I actually had Edison bulbs in there before and just installed these in their place. Originally, I tried some round LED bulbs that I picked up at the big box store and found that I could not use those bulbs in that bathroom because there was some sort of flicker or something that caused eye strain and gave me a headache so that is when I traded them for the Edison bulbs. These LED bulbs do not have that flicker and do not cause any eye strain or headaches. They are brighter white than the incandescent Edison bulbs even though both are 40 watt bulbs which isnt a bad thing in our small bathroom. We dont have dimmer switches to try them, but Im sure they will work just fine without that annoying flicker. Overall, these are a good economical alternative to the incandescent Edisons with a similar (though not exactly the same) look and the price is really good per bulb. Recommend.

They are very big and bright. I ended up returning them because they were bright enough where i could read a book outside. I wanted nice chill mood lights for patio. BUT if i did want nice bright outside lights for a deck or something, these would be really nice ones to get. Theyre also like 6 long. they MUCH bigger than the standard sized string lights.

I felt the lights were not very bright. My light fixture hold 8 bulbs. Felt like it was more dull than a bright. Also didnt notice that these were redeemable when I tried them in my light fixture. I bought these mainly since they were cheaper than the store ones. However I do not like them as well.
