Another Madden title, another winner. Prompt delivery. The Sunday Ticket was a great added bonus, something I hope continues into the future.

A few years back, I used to play NCAA Football 06 and Madden NFL 06 for hours upon hours. I would play a season of NCAA and then export the draft class into Madden. Then I would play a season of Madden and follow it up with the draft using my imported class. It was pretty addictive. It was also cool that it would track all the statistics and you could take you players to the Pro Bowl. I considered those to be the best two sports video games ever made. I bought Madden 11 for the PS3 but didnt like it as much. They had added new controls and changed the features and I just didnt end up playing the game very much. Then I saw the new Madden 25 with the great Barry Sanders on the cover. I was hoping for something special - maybe the ability to build my own team using Hall of Famers to play through a season. Well, they do have that feature, sort of. You can pick one Hall of Famer and add him to your team and then only play as that player. In other words, you have to simulate all the plays in which your Hall of Famer isnt on the field. Well that SUCKS! If you want to build your team, you have to buy packs of imaginary football cards (Im not making this up) and hope to get players you like and then add them to your team. It is not very intuitive at all. And then you have to play against other people online in order to win coins which can be used to buy more cards (but even that is limited - they really just want you to pull out the credit card, again). I played it for a few hours and then decided to dispose of it on EBay. Hey, I get it that theyre trying to make money but theyve ruined the game in the process. As for me, that was the last Madden game Ill buy. I still have the PS2 so if I get bored, I can play that. If youre interested in Madden 25, my advice would be to wait a few months. The game sucks so bad that all the video game stores will soon be flooded with used copies. But seriously, you would be far better off keeping your money in your pocket.

Im not sure why so many have issues and are complaining about how bad it is. If I had to guess they do not have good Internet connection. And those that are complaining about not being available for non directv customers you must not being following the directions. I have my old directv dish in my backyard(currently dish customer). I downloaded the app for my iPad and it works great. There were a couple times where the game paused for few seconds but it picked right back up. I was also able to stream via hdmi to my tv and it was close to hd quality. Love it so far and well worth the money. Dont even care if it came with game, probably never play it and Debating on selling...

DirecTV Sunday Ticket online is pretty bad at times and their customer service is terrible. Pretty nice when working properly. Madden 25 could have been more innovative seeing as how it is the 25th anniversary of the game but thats typical madden only putting out the bare minimum since they have no competition.

I bought Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition specifically for the NFL Ticket Stream as I dont play video games. I gave the game to my son and he has enjoyed playing it but I cant comment more than that on the game itself. As for the DirecTV Streaming, it is better than not being able to watch my team at all but completely sub-par! Week 1-Technical Difficulties all day. Week 2- missed the entire first half, again technical difficulties, second half was in and out but mostly in. Week 3-got the whole game but, once again, in and out with technical difficulties screen popping up, and the sound was about 10 seconds ahead during the whole game. A good reminder of why I dropped DirecTV Sattelite TV a year ago!

This came with a Sunday ticket subscription. It was well worth the money for me. I am a huge NFL fan and live in an area that shows games for teams I hate. Sunday Ticket is expensive, and you have to have DirecTV. This allowed me to get around that for this year.

Madden is my game and Im glad that I purchased this version and I was able to give the Sunday Ticket code to my dad and he has been able to enjoy NFL games every Sunday. The run game has been upgraded which has made for an even better feel for the game.

The DirecTV integration made this title worth it weight in gold. The set up was easy and DirecTV even helped me change my username and password on the account so it was easier to remember.
