Fast shipment and product does exactly as described ... I have a cichlid tank , African to be more precise they love digging and changing decors on a somewhat regular basis one day I found a pile of sand over my filter intake it always made a weird grinding noise after no matter how many times and/or how detailed I was cleaning each component ... I have two emperor 400s on a 120g tank , one was silent and the other annoyingly loud... I notice that the loud side propellor had large engravings and the magnet side was petty much toast. Skeptical this would be a perfect fit and all the sounds would go away u said hey what’s 20.00. This was the best money I spent it not only worked it is completely silent and most importantly my tank is super clean, I’ll post a pic ...

Its great so far - my last one was rattling so loud, it drowned out the box fans I had going to cool the apartment. This is super silent and caused no problems with either the installation or operation.

I was about to throw away the old emperor 400 filter due to the constant grinding and sucking sound it was making. I decided to buy this impeller for it just to see if I could fix it and sure enough the filter works perfectly! Super quiet

It didnt make a difference. My pump was noisy before and after installing the replacement impeller its just as bad. Super upset! Ordering a new pump immediaty and diffenstly not a Marineland.

All my filter noise is now gone! I am so thankful
