Marineland PR2121 Impeller Assembly Emperor 400b Filter Parts for Aquarium

My Marineland Emperor 400 filter had become extremely noisy. Tried the vaseline trick to quiet the rattling noise but was unsuccessful. Finally decided to buy a new impeller. Replaced the impeller and no more noise. Works like its supposed to work. No complaints.

Worked! My filter works like new. Pumps water quietly and has good flow rate. Saved me the cost of a brand new filter!

Fast shipment and product does exactly as described ... I have a cichlid tank , African to be more precise they love digging and changing decors on a somewhat regular basis one day I found a pile of sand over my filter intake it always made a weird grinding noise after no matter how many times and/or how detailed I was cleaning each component ... I have two emperor 400s on a 120g tank , one was silent and the other annoyingly loud... I notice that the loud side propellor had large engravings and the magnet side was petty much toast. Skeptical this would be a perfect fit and all the sounds would go away u said hey what’s 20.00. This was the best money I spent it not only worked it is completely silent and most importantly my tank is super clean, I’ll post a pic ...

This works great. My old impeller was noisy after the rubber pieces fell off and some parts were bent after years of service. After putting this in the filter system, started right up with much less noise almost like new.
