A delightful game. The only complaints I can muster is that theres a lot of tutorials and the characters are rather immature, but considering the target audience, that last one has little weight to it. A fun game for both children and adults. The most fun Ive had from a Mario game in years.

I really wanted to give this a five star rating, but just couldnt. As others have stated the tutorials and dialogue sometimes get in the way of the game. The game can be very long (for me 42 hours to defeat the game) and toward the end seems to drag on forever (fight, win, repeat). Some of the time factor is likely predicated on the choices one makes when ranking up (e.g. choosing the fast EXP option would likely make the game go faster as you would have higher stats and access to better gear faster) and certainly in the game itself. The puzzles throughout the game were great and added a nice change to the pace of the game. The variety of logic and timing involved in the games made them just as challenging as fighting a boss at times. Getting used to the timing and touchy nature of the motion sensor in the game unit took some time and made several of the fights (such as the Zeekeper and Dreamy Bowser) frustrating. The music is pretty good for a video game and defeating the game the first time through unlocks a jukebox that allows you to play the music like an MP3 player - pretty trick little addition to the game. All in all a good game in the Mario series.

I always like new Mario adventures, and this one certainly is unique and fun. However, I havent finished the game because I havent been fully drawn in. If you like a lot of dialogue and tutorial, this game is for you. If you are like me, and like to press A over and over until you clear the text, you might want to consider Super Mario 3D Land or another in the series instead.

This game is fun but it has a lot of reading and I would recommend it to a child with a higher reading level than my sons

The aspect that popped out from the beginning was the music, music in this game is literally one of the best in any 3DS game. The story and dialog are very entertaining and well presented. Graphics are great, specially with the 3D effect on. Excellent game and a great addition to the Mario & Luigi series!

Such an awesome game, Its a story style game so i know there is bound to be a lot of talking at points, but its such an awesome game its worth it.

This game is fun...for a little while. Where it goes wrong is with the long drawn out conversations you have to have with the npcs and the redundancy of the whole game. Sure the backgrounds and textures change but it gets very repetitive, very quickly. That being said, I still enjoyed the ending and I do love me some Mario and Luigi (I have grown up with them, starting with the original Mario Bros. (no super) game)

Ive always been a fan of mario games (even though Im an adult now).. be aware that this one was not your typical mario game.. The graphics felt a bit sub-par in my opinion, and the gameplay wasnt all that fun to me.. I think this would be better suited for young kids (5-10).. I just gave it to my nephew who loves it.
