Greater than one weekI have traveled to nearly 30 countries and discovered early on that I dislike checking in luggage. I always try to avoid this and have tried countless carry-on bags and backpacks over the years. In fact, I think there are around a dozen in my closet now! Happily I will be donating all of them this week! I just arrived home from a 10 day trip from Seattle to Tahiti and used just this pack and a small travel purse. I found the pack to be very roomy, forgiving, and high quality in: design, materials, stitching and assembly. I love the many different types of pockets - most of which are nice and deep. So deep that I kept thinking I hadn’t packed my favorite dress during the first 2 days! On the return trip my pack was stretched to it’s limits with gifts and I feared I’d bust a zipper or two. You know, one of those times where you know you should stop tugging for that very reason but go on tugging anyway! I am happy to report there was no busting! As for comfort, this gets another A+. I had a back injury years ago and for this reason I am extremely picky about what I wear. This pack is very lightweight and does not have any irritating hardware poking into you. I am absolutely confident that I have finally found the perfect bag and will be primarily using it from now on. It’s on sale right now and I’m going to buy another one - how many times do we buy something we really like, wear it out, and then kick ourselves for not buying another one at the time? Honestly, I only write reviews when I have bought something terrible and think others would like to know about (like an easily tipped space heater) or something that is worthy of high praise - like this perfect backpack.

Greater than one weekThis is a great backpack so far. Very comfortable padding on shoulder straps. Lots of compartments for organizing. Works well through TSA.

> 3 dayI bought this backpack as a personal item for a flight. Because my trip was short, I didnt want to bring a carry on (sick of overhead bins filling and having to check at the gate!). But I still wanted to bring a 17 laptop, mouse and mouse pad, some paperwork, plus toiletries and clothing for the trip. This bag fit it all! Best of all, it counted as a personal item, so I could just stash it under the seat. FYI, the bag is slightly bigger than Uniteds stated dimensions for a carry on item, but the bag fit just fine under both an aisle and window seat. Recently I used it again when traveling, and was able to bring my work laptop, personal laptop, chargers for both, and a few changes of clothes. Definitely happy with this backpack. A real step up from carrying a laptop bag or trying to safely stow a laptop into a roller carryon!

> 3 dayI purchased this backpack to use for travel, especially on an airplane. It fits perfectly under the seat. The backpack has just the right amount of pockets and holds a lot more than I thought it would. I have traveled a few times with it and absolutely love it! I highly recommend.

> 3 dayGot this so I didnt have to mess with a check bag. This was supposed to be a bag I could slide under the seat in addition to a carry-on ( overhead bin ) bag. Worked great in that way except I guess I had it packed too full cause it wouldnt quite fit under the seat. But it held everything I wanted to keep close at hand on the plane, like a book, my laptop, travel docs, etc. and some clothes and toiletries. Very sturdy handle on top for one handed carry and the shoulder straps were soft, comfortable and easy to adjust for the longer walks.

> 3 dayI ordered this bag to use as a carry-on for a work trip. I used this as my only bag so I didnt have to check any luggage at the airport. I traveled via air both times all in one day so I didnt have to pack a lot of clothes. It was large enough to carry my kindle, computer, small calendar, all my chargers, external power bank, a small notebook, small travel size necessities (deodorant, hand sanitizer, saline solution, etc.) and a change of clothes (excluding extra change of shoes). The straps were very comfortable on my shoulders as I had to walk a long distance to get to my terminal from the airport shuttle. If packing for more than 1 day I would suggest getting a rolling carry-on to go with this bag as I didnt find it to be able to pack for more than a day even doing minimal packing. It did fit well in the overhead storage on the plane and going through airport security I was able to open the laptop part fully for airport security and didnt have to take out my computer. Overall, I will use this backpack again but I dont think it will work for more than a day with packing clothes, toiletries and make up, etc.

Greater than one weekHappy with my purchase. I used recently for traveling, and it was so convenient and comfortable. I did not have to remove my laptop, as I was able to zip down on both sides for easy screening. It is quite roomy, lots of pockets for great orhanization, and it offers great protection for my laptop. It is well made and quite strong. Happy with this purchase.
