Maxi-Cosi Zelia² 5-in-1 Modular Travel System, Midnight Black

I always wanted to buy maxi cosi system after my sister in law used it with her child. I got a chance to do that with my 3 baby. She is 6 months now, I practically use the stroller and car seat daily. My opinion is now more negative about the ease of use of the whole system. First, car seat is hard to get of base, the belts are hard to pull, need some muscle. It is a disaster to place the seat on top of adapters, forget about taking the seat of adapters.. Second, the stroller wheels started making noise, it’s difficult to push stroller to rock the baby, wheels never go straight, I have to use muscle again. Other small thing like stroller handle moving back and forth on top.. I guess that is ok. And ye, it’s starches very easy. I am upset that I could have bought graco for cheaper and have less headache, disappointing.

I love the ability to change the seat to different directions. The bassinet was the main reason I bought this stroller. Some negatives about it are the wheels are not great on dirt, grass or cobblestone. The canopy doesnt extend far enough over the baby while in bassinet mode. This style doesnt have a snack tray or cup holder. The cup holder in the rear is easily in the way of doors and folding into the trunk. Ive had mine almost a year and the tires are getting stuck in one direction, like sideways and its hard to y turn the stroller. The infant seat is also very deep.

We’ve really enjoyed this set. It’s a great stroller and car seat. Super easy to use and seems comfy for our baby.

I enjoy the actual stroller. Maneuvers well, folds and unfolds easily, feels well made, good for infants and toddlers. My complaint is how incompatible maxi cosi is with all other brands. Im about to have my 2nd child and want to buy a wagon, but really don’t want to buy a new infant car seat. Well, turns out maxi cosi car seats aren’t compatible with pretty much any stroller other than the veer which is $700. It’s hardly compatible with any double strollers, even buying the Lila which is maxi cosi’s double stroller is a pain because you can’t use an existing car seat and the seat provided with it. If I knew how limited compatibility was I would have gone with a different travel system from the very start. If you don’t plan on having kids close in age or don’t care about compatibility then it’s a good stroller.

THIS IS A GIFT FOR MY NEW GRANDSON COMING IN APRIL. THEY LOVE IT.

Haven’t used it yet. But putting everything together was very easy, put it together by myself in maybe 25 min. Very self explanatory directions. The stroller is also common sense once it’s together. Love the look of it!! So far love it and can’t wait to use it!!!
