Gas loaded hood supports were exact replacements for 2006 Hummer h3. The Maxpowsupports were easy to install and extremely reasonably priced. Prime had them on my porch in 2 days. It does not get any better!

Easy to install and works as expected. The gas compression chamber is about 1 shorter than OEM. Time will tell if this makes a difference in life expectancy. Ive read complaints that it is static locked and individuals cannot compress as should be expected. Once weight of the hood is applied compression does take place.

Installed these on my H3 in March. One leaked dry by Oct. The hood was only opened a dozen times in that span of time!

Quality products. Replaced factory parts, works well.
