The 8+ inch compressed length will not allow the hood to close. The OEM struts are about 5-6inches compressed. Unfortunately in my haste I installed these without realizing that. According to the description it should fit my vehicle: 2005-2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged Sport Utility 4-Door Hood That is incorrect as it certainly does not fit my 2008 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged Hood.

Super fast shipping, great product and super easy to install. All you need is a small little pick or small flathead screwdriver to pop the clip off on the old one, then pull off. Then simply push the new one on. Thats it! Highly Recommend!

They were the wrong items. The original part was shorter than the delivered items. Disappointed.

Installed these on an 08 LR3. The factory shocks were busted and wouldn’t hold the hood up. Took about 5 minutes to take the old ones off and put the new ones on. Now the good stays up by itself. You’ll need a smaller flathead to pop the retaining rings off the old ones to get them off, then just snap the new ones on in the same way the old ones were.

OEM fit. You need this in your life if you own a Land Rover that requires this. Im buying another for my rear worn out lift.
