Medela Breast Milk Cooler and Transport Set, 5 ounce Bottles with Lids, Contoured Ice Pack, Cooler Carrier Bag

I was on the search for medela pumping bottles and found this and thought it looked like a great deal and it would be nice to have a cooler. The bottles are good but the actual bag sucks. The zipper broke after one week and the bag is big enough for the bottles and THATS IT. If you want to put milk in actual bottles with caps for travel it won’t fit. I’m disappointed, it’s cheap and not very functional as the strap is more like a tiny handle and pretty useless. I would be returning if I hadn’t thrown the box away. I expected better from medela! I’ll be looking for another cooler somewhere else.

Needed this badly so I wouldn’t have to buy formula for my 2 month old, it’s hard to breast feed sometimes when you’re so busy! This solved that problem, I can conveniently travel with my milk and have a bottle ready to go anywhere! So convenient and helpful for a busy mom of 2

I originally purchased this set to use for breastfeeding/pumping when I went back to work, however I ended up unable to breastfeed for very long. I now use these to store formula in the fridge. We use formula concentrate and I make it in daily batches. Since were using this kind of formula, it needs to be kept cold before were ready to use it. The freezer pack and carrying case allow me to take formula with us when were out and about. So glad I can still use this awesome product.

Easy to use, small enough to fit in my diaper back pack, and I love the frozen pack! And if I want to use my bagged pumped milk (not the ones in the bottles included) I just use a little bagged freezer pack and it keeps my milk frozen for a good amount of hours.

The kit is a nice idea for traveling but the bottles sucks. We saw others’ reviews on the bottle marking fading issue but thought we could avoid it by gently washed the outside (like very very gently). These bottles faded much quicker than the original Medela bottles that came with our pump. Very disappointed

The bag and ice pack are wonderful. One of the bottles numbers rubbed off. I’m not sure when it happened as all have been hand washed and never put in the dishwasher. Other than that, it’s great.

This is a great transportable cooler! My one complaint is the bottles aren’t very sturdy and the markings have started to come off after a couple months of use.,

I really like this cooler--it is compact and perfectly holds the four medela bottles and ice pack. The design ensures all four bottles stay cool and in touch with the ice pack. I would have given this five stars, except that one of the lids for one of the bottles was defective. As a result, I lost 2 ounces of milk on my way home from a business trip. I assumed I must have not closed it properly, but then I lost another ounce the next week somewhere along the journey between my office and home. I tested the bottle and lid out with other bottles and lids, and was clearly able to tell there was a problem with the one lid. While I didnt cry over the spilled milk, it was very disappointing. You go through so much to do it right, to lose three ounces due to lid defect is upsetting.

This cooler set is fantastic if you need a spare because youre a full-time pumper or just a big producer. I had a 4-day work trip coming up so I bought this at the last minute since Id have to pump 24-7 while away from my baby. This was *almost* identical to the cooler set I received with my Medela Pump in Style. It gave me some peace of mind knowing this was made by Medela instead of a third party. I did notice, like some other reviewers, that the bottles included with this kit were a little thinner than the ones that came with my pump. However, that hasnt affected their function at all, so it didnt change my overall rating for the product.
