> 24 hourI finally switched from using freezer grade BAGS to store breastmilk to these BOTTLES and its so much better. Although the Medela bags came with an attachment so you could pump directly into the bags, I found it cumbersome. You cant set it down on a table when youre putting your bra back on, so I always fear Im going to spill that liquid gold. With these bottles my life got much easier because I can pump directly into these bottles, the manual pump will balance safely on the table for a few minutes, and then not only can these go straight into the freezer, I can also easily defrost these in a drinking glass, slap a nipple cap on it and its ready to serve! Ive never experienced a leak with these bottles, which is more than I can say for the Medela freezer bags. Another thing I like about these is the size. In the first couple of months I was producing a ton of milk so a 5 ounce bag or bottle was easily filled, but after my supply weaned a little to just what my baby needed, I was really intimidated by the size of my milk recepticals. To this day, and my babys now 7 months, he wont drink more than a couple ounces at a time. These bottles are great for the amount I am able to pump in one sitting, and what he can drink in one sitting, so Im very rarely faced with the issue of waste. Writing the date onto the bottles is possible with a dry erase marker, but the ink bleeds within a few days. Im guessing this is due to moisture accumulating every time the freezer door is opened because it seems to happen more to the bottles in to the front than the back, but since we go through the milk fairly quickly so the milk doesnt get old, its not a big deal for us. I wish the labeling process was a little easier, but its nice that the ink rinses right off in water so they are totally reusable. Someone else had mentioned using a twist-tie to attach a post-it label and that just seems crazy to me in terms of the amount of effort Im willing to go to every single time I pump. Call me lazy, but thats just not a step Im willing to take. These are great little bottles and if you need to store milk, especially in the freezer, and especially in smaller amounts, these are the ones for you!

> 24 hourThe product itself is excellent. I have no issues with it either using it, storing in the fridge or cleaning it. I only gave it a 4 not a 5 bec 2.5 oz is a small amount. It used to be perfect when my son was 2 months old. Starting the 3rd month his meal grew and i have to use the bigger medela bottles. I initially went out and bought 3 packs of this 2.5oz bottles. I now regret this bec they are not useful when pumping and then heating them. Also if you have a bottle warmer you will need to heat every bottle on its own vs. the 5 oz bottle which you can heat in one go. I also used a white board pen to write on the bottles when I put them in the freezer and it wipes off easily so no issues with that. I would advice that you buy the 5 oz bottles and not these if you are plannig to pump until your baby is more than 3 months.

> 24 hourI got these thinking I was going to use them to freeze, but soon discovered that they were horrible to thaw in the fridge. It is so much easier to freeze in bags as they can be thawed in a matter of minutes by running under warm water. The positive on these was that I used them to pump into almost exclusively. Pumping into bags is so inaccurate when you are trying to see exactly how much you are pumping. Maybe I am just OCD about it, but I wanted to know exactly how much I was getting from each side and per pumping and these were perfect for that. I didnt use for storage or freezing, but I still found these helpful.

> 24 hourMy only complaint about these is I wish they came in more sizes. They are easy to use with my medela harmony, easy to clean, and it is much easier to warm milk up in these because they are so skinny. They display both ounces and mililiters. Oh...they are a little difficult to write on, but Ive managed to find one pen that will work (papermate felt tip).

> 24 hourI really like this bottles especially because you can freeze them and they are reusable. The size is about right since most breastfed kids will eat around 3oz per feeding for a long time. The only problem when compared to the plastic liner bags is that these are very bulky and can occupy half of your freezer very quickly if youre trying to build up a months supply stock. If you are hoping to keep a months supply or less frozen they are a great alternative, otherwise probably the plastic liner bags are easier to handle.

> 24 hourThese are really convenient because they can go from the pump, to the freezer, and they take standard nipples. They can only hold up to 2 oz frozen (need to leave room for expansion in the freezer), but I just give the baby 1-2 bottles depending on how hungry he is. It helps to minimize the amount of breast milk discarded because the baby does not finish the bottle.

> 24 hourBean using these for the past few months, they are great and are used all the time, Big + is that it is interchangeable with the cups that come with the Medela pumps.

> 24 hourI was sick of using bags and wanted something that would fit in the bottle warmer for my babysitters if they needed to get some milk from the freezer. My only 2 complaints are: 1. I wish they were slightly bigger as my baby eats 3 oz and these hold just under that. 2. It would be nice if the lids had a place to write a date on as I prefer to write it there than on the bottles themselves (to be fair, there is a place on the bottle to write name and date - my preference is to write on the lid). My baby does drink out of these on occasion, and seems to have less gas when he does, so thats a plus!
