Installation was straightforward. It has room for a thicker cable. Overall, a good product.

Needs a better strain relief.

I like these above all others. Requires the least amount of effort to fit and gives me faster installation times. Inserts seem to fit speakers just right.

Good for the price compared to what you will pay in a retail store. Worked good on my rear surround Definitive 800 speakers.

I havent messed with banana plugs in 10 years or so, but the ones I had previously used always caused me fits. It seemed to be a fine line between getting the wire to catch securely, or not being able to screw the plug back together. These ones were much easier to work with, didnt have to redo any wires or try again, or have issues tightening them down. They fit fine with a good secure fit in the terminals, so no complaints here. Not the cheapest plugs but were easy to work with.

I choose these due to the fact that had large red and black ID coloring. There are quality made and well engineered plugs. All the contacts including the banana plug are gold plated. I had to be a little careful when bending over the individual speaker wires as if they were too long they would get into the threads and I could not screw on the plug end. One improvement they could have made is to add a rubber strain relief. Currently its just a large opening and the only mechanical attachment is wire teeth to the speaker wire. A good mechanical strain relief would be a huge improvement.
