Not all banana plugs were made equal and Im glad that I picked the right one out of many. These Mediabridge plugs have the perfect tension and friction and show no sign of loosening after many pluggings. Likely will buy more. Thanks!

These are the wire crush type but you can solder too (my preferred method).

These seem well made. They are screw-on compression fittings that work well for splayed stranded wire - would not be useful for single heavier gauge wire.

This purchase has made my life so much easier. Knowing of an impending move, I bought these to put on my 7 speakers (14 cords total). Screwing into the banana plugs is so easy and the difference it makes to just plug into the back of the receiver instead of twist around the connector, so awesome!

Recently had to change out our receiver for a newer model. Both receivers use the screw down the wire method but both also allow for the banana plug method. Since I had to do all the work anyway, I just made the move to the banana plugs. Much easier.

Really great product and design. Very easy to install on the wire and works like a charm. Snugly fits in multiple receiver brand connectors. Highly recommend! Why pay more??

Easy to attach wires, simplifies hooking up speakers. However if your receiver is in a tight space these will increase the effective depth of the receiver compared to directly attaching the wires to the receiver.
