> 24 hourHad the open banana plugs from mono price and these are made better. The monoprice ones were frustrating because the bottoms would not screw all the way down to the base, seat and pinch the wire because the colored plastic bushings (black and red) between the screw base and the tip were too thick, so they had to be removed making it hard to identify which was the lead and ground wires. These work so much more reliably and the design is better.

> 24 hourUsed when connecting speakers to a new receiver. Generally easy to use, except I had to strip each of the old wires a little to get a clean connection/fit, so that was time consuming. Sound quality is fine...can’t tell if it’s better because of the plugs or the new receiver, but it’s a clean and crisp audio, so they must be doing their job.

> 24 hourJust do it. For years I had been poking wires through the holes and tightening. Only need to do once, right? No, over time Ive discovered the twist nuts will loosen And, want to swap your receiver/amp, easy with these! Very will constructed and handled my heavier gauge wire just fine. In addition to all that, the wiring is just cleaner. Do it! Highly recommend.

> 24 hourThese work fairly well, better than ones Ive had which kept falling out of the plug holes. The short stature of these is compensated for by the great grip you can get on these - which some the high priced cable companies seem to ignore. Ive seen other plugs where the point actually expands to get a firm grip inside the female portion, so I might try those next time. I also prefer those who use little screws to hold the wire down inside instead of fanning out the wire and screwing down the other side. An additional note - I dont understand this last sentence in the Features descriptions Each plug has a female banana plug connector on the bottom, allowing you to hook up speakers to a single output.
