> 24 hourThe vortex is an awesome bbq accessory. Chicken wings came out amazing. I haven’t tried anything other than wings but excited to next summer. Very good quality. Solid piece of steel!

> 24 hourA bit pricey for a piece of stainless steel that will lose its luster after the first use. But, this is a game changer for any charcoal grill user when it comes to fast, crispy chicken, ribs in about 2 hours and searing capacity of a jet engine on your steaks.

> 24 hourdumped some lump charcoal in the Vortex and tried to light it in there with a couple starter cubes. Lump never got going and kettle never got up to temp...I always use a chimney - dont know why I didnt this time...had to finish the cook in the oven! Dont tell anyone, OK? Next time I use it Im sure it will be fine...let ya know.

> 24 hourDid some wings, flats and drumsticks, using the Vortex and 22” Weber Kettle. Put a rub on them and let them sit in fridge for 4 hours. Fired up the grill with hardwood charcoal inside the Vortex with small side up. Ten minutes each side and they we’re perfectly done at 170 degrees internal. A lot of heat left so I put a pack of Tony Pacos Hungarian Hot Dogs on. Seven minutes and they were done. Best accessory ever. Worth it.

> 24 hourI have only used it once, but it worked great. With regard to durability, it is very sturdy, so I expect it to last a long time if properly cared for.

> 24 hourIve used it for chicken wings as advertised and its been pretty good. not as good as my rotisserie basket but I clean-up is much easier with the Vortex. Its absolutely awesome for searing steaks and its pretty good for beer can chicken. It does seem like I dont need as much charcoal when using the Vortex especially in my Kamado. It allows for better air flow and for some reason the meats Ive smoked on my Kamado taste better. I assume its because of the cleaner burn. Its pretty thick and feels like it will last a long time. I hope it does because it is not cheap.
