Greater than one weekIve used it once grilling a chicken. And I was very pleased with the way the chicken turned out. I would buy this vortex again if nothing else just to grill the chicken with.

> 3 dayThe first Vortex arrived damaged. I sent an e-mail to seller and they responded within hours with a solution AND an apology. In fact they handled a replacement incredibly fast. I will definitely look at what else they carry.

> 3 dayIve had my vortex for 2 days now. Seared steak with indirect finish to a medium rare perfection. Also grilled chicken wings. Skin was crispy with a delicious smoke flavor. Highly recommend the vortex!

> 3 dayIve used it for chicken wings as advertised and its been pretty good. not as good as my rotisserie basket but I clean-up is much easier with the Vortex. Its absolutely awesome for searing steaks and its pretty good for beer can chicken. It does seem like I dont need as much charcoal when using the Vortex especially in my Kamado. It allows for better air flow and for some reason the meats Ive smoked on my Kamado taste better. I assume its because of the cleaner burn. Its pretty thick and feels like it will last a long time. I hope it does because it is not cheap.

17-11-2024I try to on a whole chicken in the middle of the kettle with the charcoal around the outside of it, put plenty of charcoal because I cook mine for over two hours so a little more charcoal around the outside of this vortex would’ve cooked it a little faster but it did a good job keep it from burning.

Greater than one weekOk, so I was a bit skeptical about the Vortex but after a few BBQs using the Vortex I’m sold on it. I do more with it than I originally thought I could do with it. I still believe it’s a little more pricey than it should be but if it holds up it might just be worth the money
