Only one color I wish they would add is a purple to get the perfect desired effect. The makeup last decently with a setting powder. Make sure to apply over a matte primer first. Its worth the money.

It’s good just a little hard to figure out what colors to mix together

Used this makeup with the Mehron Dark Venous Stage Blood #152, 4.5 Ounce and Mehron Makeup Liquid Latex Light Flesh, 4.5...We were the hit of the party with out bloody cuts on my neck and a gunshot hole in my husbands head and peeling face on my daughter. LOL this was the best costume we created in a long time and did it with these products. the Youtube videos we watched helped create these scary looks. Will definitely use again!

Amazing ends results! This is my first time trying out fx makeup so I thought I’d start small. So I started with a few bruises. Amazing product for creating bruises! I haven’t tried it for anything else yet but once I get my other supplies I will. Very pleased with this item!

Exactly what I needed for Zombie Day at work. I took off one star because the colors arent saturated enough to show on really dark skin, but it worked well for most of the group and did not fade much.

Using this palette for cosplay (the mid-/post-battle type) and it’s pretty convincing with a little practice! The cream doesn’t smear without effort once it’s dried. These seem to be all the right colors for the varying stages of bruises.

I’ve used Mehron products for halloween makeup before, and I really do like this brand. I used this bruise kit for a halloween costume this year, and I love it!! I had prosthetic cut-off horns on my forehead and wanted it to look more real like they were actually protruding from my head. The colors blend so easily onto natural skin and liquid latex! I used a porous sponge that I tore up and just lightly stippled various colors around the horns. I started with yellow, then added a little tiny bit of green, then used the red and brown color mixed together and topped it off with a little stage blood. It lasted all night!!

Great bruise wheel. Its just as good as the more expensive brands available. Highly recommended. This is part of my face painting kit and comes out mostly at Halloween, but also for little boys who want to look like zombies or generally gross. Photo included of a black eye done with this bruise wheel during Halloween. Used a latex sponge and a little bit of water to get it going. It really creeped my mom out!

This makeup wheel worked perfectly for creating a black eye as well as other bruises and scrapes. It was easy to apply and blended well. Although its a grease makeup, it definitely does not feel *greasy* on your skin! (I used to work in a Halloween store where wed use those really cheap grease cream makeups that ran really badly, so I wasnt sure about this initially.) I watched a tutorial on Youtube and the girl utilized the Ben Nye bruise wheel, which has one additional color (looks like a dark blue) but is more than twice the cost. I felt this worked really well and was really great quality, and I didnt need to spend the extra $20 to get it. I would recommend using a setting powder and setting spray to keep the effects from running or getting smudged if you touch them. The makeup did fade a bit by the end of the day, but I was also outside for a large portion of the day in 80-degree weather, so I was surprised it lasted as long as it did! I would use FX makeup wheels by this brand again!

There were a bunch of pallets on amazon that looked just like this one. However this was the one with the most positive reviews so i figured id give it a try. Well, in my mind i assumed it would be similar to face paint and be quite difficult to blend out. However, i was surprisingly happy to see that the colors are highly pigmented, and go on really well. They also blend really well so you can create realistic looking bruises. The colors are also all pretty nice for bruises! My favorite color was the green, because it gave off this gnarly zombie-bruise look. Definitely a must have for anyone looking to do some special FX makeup!
