I got this as a gift for my 9 year old sister. It’s advertised towards toddlers, but she LOVES it. It comes with so many little things to do to the horse. She takes care of it like it’s her baby. There were so many interactive pieces and personalized stickers! I honestly had fun playing with it. It’s a GREAT gift to someone who likes horses.

Got this for our vet station at home. It’s really good quality. We love Melissa and Doug. However I wish it came with a few more products. Especially a bag to hold everything or a robe. However for what it is my kids loved it and have gotten hours of play from it.

I’m a big Melissa and Doug toy fan and this one did not disappoint. My little horse lover LOVES every single part of this toy. The quality is right in line with most Melissa and Doug toys...I might even go as far as to say it may be considered better. All the pieces are made well and durable. The little additions that allow your kiddo to personalize it are really awesome like the name stickers for the horse and the way all the pieces can be placed anywhere in the stable. One thing I feel like might be a fun addition would be if Melissa and Doug included a washable dry erase marker. The kit comes with a checklist for “chores” necessary to take care of your new pet and this piece is made of the same plastic the stable is made from. So when my LO opened it and started playing and insisted on being able to actually mark off each chore as she did it, I dug out a dry erase marker for her to use and it worked perfect to wipe clean and re-do each day. It’s a really fun, interactive toy with zero batteries and screens. Win-win-win. Not to mention the lessons of responsibility my LO is learning without even realizing it. It is definitely mom and kid approved in our house and we have gotten lots of play time out of it already since Christmas!

It is never to early to learn dog training skills, and this is a way to do it on a floor or table top without a live dog. Great fun for many hours of imaginative play.
