Melissa & Doug Puppy School Play Set

My Granddaughter, age 5, played for hours, and when a toy was needed for her cousin, age 3, who loves anything Farm animal related, we purchased the same. The reaction was the same!

Our Daughter is fascinated with dogs, so we knew we had to get this for her. She loves training her puppy to do different tricks, and navigate the obstacle course. We even showed her some videos on Youtube of dogs doing obstacle courses. So even though she doesnt quite grasp the why of it, she sees what the dogs are doing, and wants her puppy to mimic them. We also liked that the whistle has a safety option, so that it doesnt pose any sort of strangling risk for kiddos. Weve ordered plenty of Melissa & Doug products for our Daughter. All of them have been great. So we would definitely recommend this particular set to parents. If your kid loves dogs, you gotta order it for them.

My daughter LOVES animals, so I thought this would a be fun kit for her. She really enjoys it. The dog and cat that come with it are little and a bit cheap, so she used her own puppies. The accessories are lots of fun. Her favorite thing was to make nametags/collars for all the pets she made pretty. The pieces are small, so not for super young kiddos, but my daughter (5) played with this for hours and even set up a pet salon its great for creative, independent play! My favorite part, NO sounds!!

This was a birthday present for my 2 year old grandson. His mom suggested it. He is learning how to take care of an animal and can play with it with his older siblings. And he just plain likes it.

This is the neatest set! It actually teaches my granddaughter the importance of feeding the dog. She loves the little name tags and the food and boxes are very durable! Very excited about this purchase!

My 6-year-old niece took some convincing (she called it a “baby toy” at first) but she was super excited at all the feeding, riding, and grooming accessories. Really high quality except the horseshoes don’t go on so well. Went perfectly with the Melissa and Doug wooden corral for lots of fun open ended play.
