I have liked and used it for years

This is my favorite lip balm and has been for many years. It used to be called Mentholatum Lip Balm. Over the years it has changed names and packaging and sometimes takes me a while to find, but it is still the same, great product now called Natural Ice. Whatever they want to call it, it is soothing, moisturizing and cooling and doesnt leave my mouth greasy. Ive always loved it and am happy to see it is available at Amazon as it has become increasingly difficult to find locally.

This is a tube of magic. I have the delightful combo of a sunny dry climate, fair skin, constantly peeling lips, and horrible reactions to most lip balms. This stuff is awesome, and I am smooth and sunburn-less. It is fungal acne safe, so no bumps or annoying mouth adjacent triggered acne. The menthol is refreshing, but mild enough for my skin (which is quite sensitive). Plus, it lasts for quite awhile without being gummy or sticky. I have applied a very thin coat under lip gloss and it doesn’t mess with my makeup either. I will 100% hoard this for the apocalypse.

I love this lip balm but it is hard to find in the stores so I bought a whole box! Should last for some time. For me, this heals chapped lips better than other brands.

40 years ago this stuff was simply called Mentholatum Lip Balm and was packaged in dark green with white type face. Every 10 years they re-package and re-brand, but reading the fine print... its still manufactured by the Mentholatum Company, in Orchard Park New York -- and yes I ordered a two-dozen box set. Should be set for a few years. Bedside table standby; cant sleep without it on. :)

Okay to use

Best chap stick. Lips feel good. Does not dry them out. Protects lips from the sun with a SPF. The sport version is too soft though. This one is just perfect.

Love, Mentholatum natural ice lip protectant, impossible to find in any store where I live, Ive looked in all of them, used to be able to buy at one chain of grocery stores, but they all closed, so my next option was to look online, and I was VERY HAPPY to get my order so quickly and just what I ordered and not a knock-off. Natural Ice Lip Protectant is my favorite lip balm and the only one I use. It is very hard to find locally in stores so I like being able to buy in bulk on Amazon and stock up. I highly recommend this product. If you havent tried it, I would suggest you do. Natural Ice keeps your lips moisturized and soft. The balm contains SPF 15 sunscreen so your lips are also protected from the harmful rays of the sun and it prevents chapped lips. This protectant is manufactured by The Mentholatum Company so it is from a highly respected and trusted company. The balm is available in other varieties (cherry, sport, etc) but I prefer the original. Now if only they would put their ointment in a tube like the lip balm my hands wouldn’t get yucky and I would be a happy camper.
