Its light weight. The wheels move smoothly. When it was delivered there was a dent in one side. We went on a family vacation and it held up well. I recommend buying this luggage set if you are in need. And I absolutely love the color; green.

We had this product for better than a year and barely used it. On one trip, the wheel on the largest broke (the entire plastic surrounding the wheel tore completely). My expectation was that wed have to buy a new one since it had been over a year. They considered the problem a warranty issue and sent a replacement. I dont know if the issue was a warranty issue or if the issue was that the airlines were too hard on the suitcase. What I do know is that they stood behind the product and made the support super easy. They sent the replacement within about a week of the customer service call. No extra cost to me. Rock on!

I recently purchased this product because I want to replace my old fraying fabric carry-on suitcase. Upon receiving the item I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of the box it came in - it was so light! The case itself is very sturdy, with an also sturdy (yet slim) password lock on the side. Storage-wise, it can hold my current 3-day 3-people family getaway stuff with ease and maybe rooms for a bit more. I was again, pleasantly surprised that a hardshell suitcase can carry as much as my old one (Though I do miss having an outside pocket for a book when waiting at the gate). My only concern is that the handle is made from hollow aluminum, and seems a bit too light. But judging by other reviews here, it shouldnt be an issue even for long flights.

Beautiful color luggage, but not sturdy! Very thin and flexible material. Not ideal to hold delicate or fragile items. If you dont overpack or are a light vacation packer, this will be ideal for you. Lightweight.

The pack of three seems fantastic. Super light and very easy to move. Will write more after I use them in July..

Excellent stuff! Took the bags on a trip up to Alaska. The smallest unit can be a carry-on or checked. It fit in the overhead bins fine, even on a regional commuter jet. Well designed and tough for today’s airline baggage apes.

Great buy from maneuverability

This is an updated review. Had to remove my five star rating. The original review as to sizes and functionality stands true. HOWEVER, there have been durability issues with the two larger cases, I.e. the checked bags, after LESS THAN eight flight ‘segments’. The largest case is now minus a side foot and the mid-size case is now minus a wheel! Both could be replaced, but would require cutting through the inner liners of the cases to access the fasteners. I am in discussion with the Merax representatives and the seller, trying to reach a satisfactory resolution. Original statements follow: These suitcases are fairly lightweight, all are expandable and have built in TSA locks, which are easy to set up and use. They are easy to maneuver, rolling freely. BUT, a word of caution to the inexperienced traveler: the EXTERNAL dimensions of the largest and smallest case are exactly at the maximum for airlines, so DO NOT expand them or they will be over-sized for checked and carry-on use. I wish that the side handles were affixed on the portion of the case that has the zippered closure instead of the side that has only the elastic straps securing the contents... it would make the opening of the case much easier without the contents being disturbed. But this seems to be an industry-wide normal.

I liked the color, &the wheels were smooth, but after the first trip it was scratched considerably. I had another brand on the same trip and it had no scratching. This one looks like its been through many rough trips :(

Its great my second set! But I will say that the first set is more durable than this set! I will recommend it. I didnt give it five stars because this set is cheaply made on the inside.
