Merax Luggage Sets Clearance with TSA Lock, Expandable 3 Piece Lightweight Suitcase Set 20inch 24inch 28inch (Blue)

I have nothing bad to say about this purchase, was a little nervous at first don’t get me wrong. I’m impressed by the durability and how light weight it is.! Can’t wait to use it for our second trip.

This works great, they are lightweight and very maneuverable even when full. Very easy to pick out at luggage claim because not very many dark blue, mostly black color. Fit family of four for 2 week vacation to Mexico. Love the TSA locks.

This is an updated review. Had to remove my five star rating. The original review as to sizes and functionality stands true. HOWEVER, there have been durability issues with the two larger cases, I.e. the checked bags, after LESS THAN eight flight ‘segments’. The largest case is now minus a side foot and the mid-size case is now minus a wheel! Both could be replaced, but would require cutting through the inner liners of the cases to access the fasteners. I am in discussion with the Merax representatives and the seller, trying to reach a satisfactory resolution. Original statements follow: These suitcases are fairly lightweight, all are expandable and have built in TSA locks, which are easy to set up and use. They are easy to maneuver, rolling freely. BUT, a word of caution to the inexperienced traveler: the EXTERNAL dimensions of the largest and smallest case are exactly at the maximum for airlines, so DO NOT expand them or they will be over-sized for checked and carry-on use. I wish that the side handles were affixed on the portion of the case that has the zippered closure instead of the side that has only the elastic straps securing the contents... it would make the opening of the case much easier without the contents being disturbed. But this seems to be an industry-wide normal.

El material no es de buena calidad. Apenas en el primer viaje se rompió en una esquina, a pesar de que la llevábamos en la parte de arriba del avión conmigo y la manipulé todo el tiempo yo. Aún así se rompió muy fácilmente

We had this product for better than a year and barely used it. On one trip, the wheel on the largest broke (the entire plastic surrounding the wheel tore completely). My expectation was that wed have to buy a new one since it had been over a year. They considered the problem a warranty issue and sent a replacement. I dont know if the issue was a warranty issue or if the issue was that the airlines were too hard on the suitcase. What I do know is that they stood behind the product and made the support super easy. They sent the replacement within about a week of the customer service call. No extra cost to me. Rock on!

Handle wasn’t very sturdy

I needed to pick up a 24 inch spinner hard side suitcase and found one from Merax that was at a good price and superior construction and performance. Very pleased by this purchase and I would buy another bag from them

Exactly as described. Lightweight and strong outside shell. Fast ship. Will be using it to transport Christmas gifts safely!
