    I got this to use as a church bag. It holds a standard size King James , a tablet, a phone, a scarf, and keys along with some other necessities. It hangs just right on the hip without pinching my neck or bumping my hip into others like a hobo/beach/diaper bag would and it looks way cooler.

    Love this bag- but don’t love the stiffness and the struggle with the zipper. Zip closure is poorly designed. Best part is the length and adjustable strap.

    I purchased this bag for someone in which they carry their iPad and other items. Its a perfect size and is very stylish. I cant speak, yet, to its durability, but it seems to be very well made and the canvas and leather should hold up for years to come.

WAX or not? Two options.

There are two kinds of this bag, made of two kinds of fabrics - waxed canvas and soft canvas with no wax.

  • The waxed canvas is a little more stiff in winter, softer in summer and it will soften with age and use. It has good water resistance. Waxed canvas is unique for the speed with which it naturally ages, developing a worn-in, vintage look and texture very quickly.
  • Vintage classic look - The waxed canvas surface have disorderly wrinkles and it is easily scratched which is rendered in a retro and wild style for men and especially women. If you’re just in a hurry for your new waxed canvas bag to look and feel old, first consider this option: JUST USE IT. Which is the best way to earn that character and texture you’re looking for.
  • Waxed canvas will not stain easily, marks and scuffs incurred by everyday use add to its character.
  • If you do not like so much marks, creasing or scratchs, you can use the warm air ( such as hairdryer ) to dissolve the wax, then they would be disappear.
  • While the soft canvas feels more comfortable, and the color is more brighter. If you don"t like a stiffer feel, just choose the soft canvas.
