> 3 dayAfter trying several “quiet” air compressors, I’m happy to say I’ve finally found one that’s actually quiet. It does the job. I use it mostly for cleaning out sawdust from my machines. I do wish it had a better sustained airflow, though. It seems to trail off a bit after the initial blast of air. I had trouble getting a 1/4” hose attached to the unit. After several attempts, I decided to try with the tank empty. Once fully drained, it took the the connection no problem.

> 3 dayIf youre like me (have a baby in the house and a small shop in the garage or basement), then you know that noise is a BIG thing. Luckily, this makes almost no noticeable noise. I really only use this for brad nailing and it works perfect at that task - dont think you can run any air-heavy tools with this. Get a quality hose and fittings, though - if theres even a tiny leak, this little guy will keep popping on to refill the tank. It puts in some work almost everyday and I havent had any issues.

> 3 dayWe needed an air compressor to clean and pre-process our laser printed material for our in-office mail inserting equipment. Quiet operation was the one of the most important criteria and this compressor is perfect for that. We found that when shuffling laser printer output, adding the step of blowing air over the printer output reduces the sheets electrostatically sticking together and greatly reduces jams and mis-inserts in our Neopost mail inserter. This was suggested by one of our techs and was an outstanding recommendations.

> 3 dayI returned this unit because it began tripping it’s thermal breaker. I could hold my hand against ant portion of it and it wasn’t hot, not even real warm.

Greater than one weekNote its 1 gallon, and at 100 PSI, this thing is empty in literally like 1-2 seconds. But, more importantly, my unit failed immediately, with a leak at the regulator valve, which slowly dissipated air pressure through that valve, no matter how tight or loose I had it, all the way out or in. So I see this piece of included paper: STOP. DO NOT RETURN to THE STORE. CALL US UP FOR TECH SUPPORT! So I call them up. They say, uh, just return it. LOL. What clowns. That being said, I am getting another one, because its so damn easy to return stuff with Amazon, and this unit is SO SO QUIET that you wont believe its working, so Ill take another chance. I am not pumping up truck tires, I am only using it for shop air to blow out dirt and other issues from crevices, and this will work fine for that. Especially in my small shop, this unit being so quiet is a godsend compared to my older Craftsman 5 Gal compressor which required me to put on hearing protection. Update: new unit performs as expected. I think the problem with the original is that there was some foreign material inside the unit, which I could see was coming out of the water drain valve and pressure release valve. Maybe some metal grit from the machining process, and it probably also got into the pressure relief valve and caused the seals to be ruined. Though, still, the one gallon capacity is like NOTHING.... that motor will need to constantly be on if you are using a steady stream of air at any pressure.
