> 3 dayWell, I should have read the reviews. Broke the first time I hung my mic on it. What a piece of garbage. How can a metal clip be weaker than a plastic mic? Absolutely amazing.

Greater than one weekIts a minor point, but irritating. And maybe its not even the manufacturers fault. But the width of the hanger button on the back of my 2m mobile microphone (Kenwood TM-221a) is 0.507 inches. Thats 507 milliinches for for those of you who judge me for not using metric. The width of the slot the microphone button has to fit into is 0.440. So theres only 0.067 (67 milliinches) of engagement between the hanger button and the holder. So the microphone button doesnt engage the holder and drops out. Not a huge problem. I can make one that will work. The old machinists joke being, It costs what? I can make one for probably twice that! Be forewarned. If you have a newer radio with a smaller hanger button, it might not work with this clip.

> 3 dayI bought this to mount on the side of my Cobra 29 CB. The only issue I had was the screw not tightening up all the way. I used existing holes in the side of the CB and apparently the screws that come with it are too long or something so it is loose on the side of the CB. It does still work fine and Ive not had any issues with it.
