Great stand, just much smaller than expected. My phone was listed in the ones it is compatible with. But it was not so. Attached is the difference between my iPhone 8 (represented by its case) and its tallest setting.

This item exceeded my expectations... finally, a sturdy metal tripod mount (without cheap plastic bits) that adapts to different mobile phone sizes! This product certainly does not mimic the infinite sea of competitor products that have been designed with planned obsolescence in mind... I’m beyond pleased with this purchase!

The threads to hold the smartphone have been shaved off.

Simple to use, set up is a breeze, versatile, compact and easy to transport. My girlfriend was upset with me so I went on our anniversary road trip by myself. I’m glad I had this tripod mount to get me through her difficult time.

I needed some way of mounting my phone on a tripod and had settled on getting a pricey name brand mount. But then I saw this and decided to take a chance because the reviews were so positive and the price was half what I was going to pay. I am very pleasantly surprised. This thing is made of aluminum and built very nicely. It is functionally solid and all the moving parts have a smoother action and tighter tolerance on than Id expect for the price. The bonus is that it has a retractable leg that allows you to use it as a desktop stand with a tripod. I wish all my bargain purchases worked so well.

I purchased this mount to attach to my tripod and I love it! It’s all metal and feels sturdy, but the best part is the little stand you can rotate out! You can then use it as a phone stand without the tripod. I’m honestly surprised how much I love this thing, I want to keep it on my phone at all times.
