MFJ Enterprises Original MFJ-913 Balun 4:1 Current 300 Watts

I have used several MFJ items and they are all quality items.

This will be used on a future antenna build.

It appears to work OK, and I did not have to return it for repair, if you know what I mean..

Works great feeding my 43 foot vertical antenna

This MFJ-913 works great on my 80,40,20 OCF but only up to 40 meters. The swr is great at 80 and 40, just a touch of tuning is needed at 20. But now my feed line is radiating on 80 meters after only a week of having it up and is causing rfi in the house. Im only running up to 100 watts. Probably just a quality issue im guessing.

Used this to build an OCF dipole. 90 feet one way and 45 feet the other way. Hooked to my tuner, I can tune 10 meters to 80 meters with no problems. Works fine on 100 watts SSB. Farthest Ive talked is Russia - 8000 miles away.

MFJ makes a good Balun. I used mine for a homemade Off Center fed. Does the job

product as expected. appears to be good quality.
