MG Chemicals - 4884-227G 63/37 Rosin Core Leaded Solder, 0.025 Diameter, 1/2 lbs Spool

This was as described, and arrived on time.

This solder flows very well and is very controllable due to the small size. It doesnt leave a large amount of flux behind but theres still enough that I would suggest getting some flux cleaner if you want your board to look perfect.

Ive been using this solder for years now, its one of the best leaded solders I have ever seen. Its the only leaded solder I buy. I would recommend it to anyone looking to do good solder jobs.

This 63/37 (tin/lead) solder has worked out very well for work with thru-hole components on a PCB. I have built a QCX transceiver and have no complaints from the solder department. I may be tempted to use this thin-gauge solder on a SMD project that is in my future. It may be a tad too fat for that; maybe. This solder matches my experience with Kester solder. Both good.

I now use this solder for everything. It wets very well and has a very effective flux. If you use this solder, I reccomend that you use a tip cleaner like this one (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005C789EU/ref=cm_cr_ryp_sol_prd_title) because your tip will get dirty from the strong flux.

Good but I prefer Loctite, the joints come out clean and shiny but it is still single core solder instead of multi core.

This is high-quality stuff, believe me it is not easy to find solder this good anywhere else. Melts properly and flows smoothly. This small diameter solder works great for very fine jobs.

This solder works great, flows easy but sets quick. I would recommend this to a friend, 63/37 is the only way to go for ease of assembly when building circuits.
