Going to an all metal hot end to print PETG, Im still getting the hang of the settings, but the quality of the lines compared to the cheap brass 20 for 10 bucks .4mm nozzles is very obvious. Yes, its a lot of money for what is a consumable part, eventually you will need to replace it, but if youre starting to expand from little trinkets and get serious in 3d printing: Making parts for others, functional parts, working/moving parts for machines, this nozzle is worth every penny when you dont need to reprint a 10 hour part because the 50 cent nozzle screwed up the dimension.

Quality is as good as a 0.4mm for what I am printing. The difference is it prints twice as fast.

Had to slow my print speeds to 40mm/s With PETG 1.75mm Fillament at 248C. 0.6mm Layers and 1.2mm wall (needs only one vertical perimeter because each wall is 1.2mm thick). Authentic Micro Swiss Stainless Steel! Parts are super strong!

I am using this on a Monoprice Maker Select/Wanhao V2.1. I updgraded to the the Micro Swiss hot end and later picked one of these nozzles up. I prefer the .4mm nozzles compromise between print speed and precision. I only had to head up the old nozzle, unscrew it, and screw this one in. The difficulty factor is painless. I have been using the nozzle for 100 hours of printing so far and have not experience any of the problems the other reviewers ran into. I have not experienced any manufacturer defects with my Micro Swiss products. The main problems Ive run into over the last few years have been related to either the heat break reassembly or bed leveling. Ive had some issues with jamming in a few of my printers, which were related to either needing to adjust the heat break position or correct my bed leveling. Ive included the first benchy I printed with this nozzle which was PETG, a PETG robotic hand, and a PLA dinosaur egg. Ive been satisfied with this nozzle.

This is Micro Swiss MK10 All Metal Hotend ONLY style nozzle, it will ONLY fit our MK10 All Metal Hotend Kit. This nozzle has completely different internal dimensions to work with our Micro Swiss thermal barrier tube. It is made from a 360 brass base material and plated with TwinClad XT coating. TwinClad XT is a nickel composite coating designed for very low friction. It offers one of the lowest coefficient of friction, better then nickel with PTFE co-deposit. This coating is also very hard and abrasion resistant. If you are working with abrasive Carbon Fiber, Stainless Steel, wood filled or any other metal filled filaments, this will greatly improve the life of your nozzle.
