I have a Miele vacuum that I always use for my cleaning business. I go through vacuum bags a lot and I have found buying them from Amazon to be the best deal around.

I have not tried the after market replacement part. Maybe it is equaly good?

Miele is a superior cleaning machine. Ive had mine for about 15 years, and it still works like a brand new vacuum.

Hands down the best vacuum bags you can buy, for the best vacuum we have ever had! Though expensive, these bags not only do a great job at filtering (without excessive air resistance), but also hold a surprising amount of dirt. I was concerned about capacity, as these bags seem small. After examining how dirt is distributed inside (as well as cutting open a full one to retrieve some sucked-up toy parts), it looks like the bag is designed to layer dirt evenly around the outside walls, while leaving an empty space around the center, where the hose end comes in. This not only allows for maximum packing capacity, but also improves airflow. I am totally satisfied with how well these bags work.

My Miele is a great vacuum, very well built and easy to use. The OEM bags from Miele do the job and are very easy to remove and add in the vacuum itself. Quality is good and I have never had a leak or any issues with these bags.

I was delighted to receive my OG Miele FJM FilterBags which is the fancy name of the dust bags with the red collar (I guess other models have other colors). Was a little bummed to see my package arrive squished. The container is a thin cardboard packaging material and the top part was scrunched, busting open some of the perforated label on the top. Not too much of a big deal to me, but for someone who takes sterility seriously and lean towards germaphobic, Id pause on this. Two of the three parts were compatible with my Miele Compact C2 Electroplus Powerline in Marin Blue. Dust bag, yes; Pre-motor filter, yes. The one that wasnt was the exhaust filter. The box itself recommends, a Miele HEPA AirClean filter (sold separately) for optimal filtration. The one I will need to replace is a HEPA AirClean 50 filter in white and what was provided in the box was a thin cloth filter material which appears to be compatible with S241 - S299 models. Wish I knew what I could do with this. Anyhow, Im overall content with my purchase as I needed it primarily for the dust bags.

Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because one of the vacuum filters was missing. It’s supposed to have 2 but I only got one
