I use it mainly to protect the charging port for the watch. I wear the watch through my hydro runs in the pool and after showering, take off the watch and the port protector and blow out the port with cold air to dry and clean any debris, wipe off the protector. If you dont the port will collect dirt, debris etc and may be an issue.

Well packaged and very useful tools for protection of your Garmin instinct.

The Instinct watch is rugged and durable out of the box. I got the protector for peace of mind and like to preserve my stuff, but its not necessary. However, the little charger port plugs are a must-have for me. I sweat and get dirty a lot, and since the port is exposed, these bring peace of mind that sweat and dirt will have a hard time getting into the already tough connector. Id say it was worthwhile.

Followed all (very minimal) instructions, screen protector WILL NOT STICK. Watched several YouTube instructional videos. Nope. Customer Service is a dead link. Even had my wife try to apply it, since shes not one to believe that anything gets done correctly by anyone but her. No luck. Charger port plugs work well, on the other hand...

The charger port protector fits perfectly, not sure why the watch does not come with these. Plenty of extras in case it falls out. The face protector comes with a complete kit for easy application. Seems very solid.

These are stupid easy to install. Took me about three seconds. The screen just needs to be perfectly clean. Ive used a single screen protector for at least a year.

Well worth the money
