Greater than one weekMy dad has a mini-PC, which only has one 3.5mm front for headphones, and the software was being buggy for setting up his 2.1 speaker setup. This adapter did the trick.

Greater than one weekConfirmed this actually works with wired apple earpod headphones to let you use the mic and audio. They are my absolute favorite headphones due to how they fit in my ear. I have been looking for a solution to let me use the wired earpod headphones as well as their microphone capability on the ps4 and this finally solved my issue. If you use any kind of wired apple product on ps4 it will not let you use the microphone. This is a solution but the only drawback is you have to plug the usb into the system. It will require some sort of extension for comfortable use. For 8 bucks you cant beat it.

> 3 dayThe 3.5 jack didnt insert the last sleeve, it felt like the jack had bottomed out as if the female end wasnt deep enough. I re-read the description that said it would take the TRRS jack. After twisting, turning and pushing the jack harder, it snapped in and works fine. It appears the Dell e6540 sound system is not stereo capable, USB or 3.5 pin. My Win 7 and a Beta Win 10 e6430 latitudes deliver great stereo from YouTube videos, with and without the converter.

09-06-2025Item worked but the USB end of the cable has a metal cover that has come loose and is sliding. Cable is still work but this problem concerns me in that it might not survive as long as I would need it to.

> 3 dayThis was plug and play on my Ubuntu laptop. I only use it for audio output and it works with plugging a standard headphone plug into it without using a TRRS adapter (however, if you accidentally select it as your input and go into Discord or something the other party will hear an interference sound). I havent used it with a TRRS but I suspect it would work fine and the inputs show up as options for me on Ubuntu as well.

> 3 dayWorks well as its intended - shows up as windows as USB Audio Device for both playback and recording. Very slim and compact. However.... I bought this to try and eliminate the buzz from my motherboard audio-out jack but it seems to have a slight low level buzz of its own (only noticeable if youre not playing anything). So it didnt fix my problem but it not matter if you dont care about that. Also, it seems to reduce the volume level of the outputted audio by quite a bit. Everything was much quieter when I switched to this device from motherboard audio.

Greater than one weekThis is a convenient little cable. I bought 4 of them. You dont always have an audio jack but you usually have a USB jack. This cable makes it convenient.
