13-06-2025Bought 1 initially for use in a cigar tupperdor using 69% humidity bovida packs. It measured 63% humidity and stayed that way. It didn’t seem right to me so I bought a 2nd one of the same hygrometer and this one is reading 68% so I believe the 2nd one is accurate +/- 1. I’d recommend going with a different brand as you shouldn’t have to by multiple to get and accurate reading.

> 3 dayFits inside my guitar case easily. It reads 5% pts higher than two other digital hygrometers I have but those could be wrong. I assume this one reads high so I just mentally subtract 5 points when l look at it.

> 3 dayHighly recommend this digital humidity reader! I live in the Midwest where our home-humidifier doesn’t work as well as we want it to. I know it was too dry in the house and now I can measure it easily.

> 3 dayI read other reviews that said this was not accurate but for the price I was willing to take a chance. The one I received gives accurate readings as far as I can tell. I compared the readings to a more expensive thermometer/hygrometer I had as well as to my Nest thermostat and they all had very similar readings so I feel comfortable in relying on it. I am using it in an egg incubator and another reviewer stated that it provided inaccurate results in their incubator. Mine is a small forced air incubator and I needed something small to fit in it. I also receive temperature readings that are inconsistent with the reading on my incubator but I have found my incubator has warmer and cooler spots depending on where I place this in the incubator, I think this is to be expected because of the physics of warm air rising and the proximity of the incubator’s temperature sensor to the heating element where this sits lower in the incubator and closer to the edge of it where heat conduction is also a factor with the cooler walls of the incubator. I have another thermometer I used to calibrate my incubator at the level the eggs sit in it and I use this mostly for the humidity readings which appear to be quite accurate.
