One reviewer said you have to use a third party app. Well of COURSE you do, all devices will require some app on the phone to control. I only buy things that use the SmartLife app since that way I only have to have ONE app on the phone to control my lights, devices, etc... These work with smartlife. Another thing they do that the previous set I have did not - they will persist a power setting. So if you have a power loss or brownout for a moment, if this was powered on at the time, it will power back ON again when power is restored, unlike many that always default to off again. But two of the four here failed utterly being able to connect to any app. They would not connect. I couldnt get them to reset to get the fast blinking light needed to join to the SmartLife app. Ive tried the power button hold, the plug/unplug multiple times, all the normal things that are supposed to put these into the setup mode needed. Two of them, nothing worked. The two that came up in the setup mode with the fast blinking lights were immediately found by smart life and able to connect, get named, and worked fine. But a 50% failure rate is too high.

Turn any plug in product to a smart device!!!! I set up the plug in the manufacturer’s app then connected it to my Alexa app! Works perfectly!

These plugs spend more time offline than they do online! Way too much resetting

Yes their app sees the devices but nothing else does even Alexa... Took almost 3 hours to even get their app connected then seemed pointless since nothing else will see the device even 3rd party apps I use to connect my 6 year old wifi bulbs to my echo...

WHAT I LOVE! -great quality -great price -packaged really well and arrived when I expected it to -easy to communicate with company if you have any issues at all WHAT I DISLIKE! -nothing! OVERALL -HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS. WHEN I NEED ANOTHER ITEM LIKE THIS I WILL BE REPURCHASING!

These were a little tough to setup. Not a fan of the App

I only had one issue when trying to set the first one up. I forgot these only work with 2.4G WiFi. Fortunately, you only have to use the slow WiFi to set them up with the app and Alexa. After you set them up, you can switch your phone back to 5G and the plugs will work normally. I use the Smart Life app for other devices, and was relieved to know that the plugs are compatible with it. The plugs connected right away to my app and instantly to Alexa once the Smart Life app recognized them. Very pleased with the smart plugs!

This is a review of WISEBOT’s Grounded Smart Plugs These are a reliable set of grounded smart plugs that come four to a pack. They have a rating of 10amps / 1200watts, so they could be used for small appliances, like a coffee maker, lamps, computers, holiday lighting, any number of items. I have three of the four controlling lamps in 3 of the guestrooms. I can now control those lamps with a simple voice command or have them turn on or off at specific times. No hub is required. I have a lot of similar smart plugs scattered about the house, and these are just as reliable as any I have purchased over the years. Setup was easy and only took a few minutes. Note: These devices only support a 2.4GHz network. Once connected I can use voice commands to control the device, place it into a group and control all the devices at once (Echo, turn on first-floor lights), or create a routine to have them go on or off at a specific time or on specific days. Bottom Line Easy to set up, have not had a single problem with controlling them, and at a great price point. They are a great addition to my “smart” home.

Had some difficulty with the Gosund app to recognize the plugs. Works great once setup is complete.
