> 3 daySo these are too big to use two in an outlet. It wont completely block the second outlet in a wall plate, but it may hinder some plugs from being used. Setup was super simple. Download their app, hook up to your Wi-Fi, pair the outlet, and done. And the outlets can be named. So I plugged a lamp into the outlet to see how it works. When I turn the lamp off through the app, it does not keep my lamp settings when I turn it back on. The lamp has a reading light that is controlled separately from the main lamp and even if I have the reading light off when I use the app to turn off the lamp, both lights turn on when I use the app for power. Im not sure if this is due to the lamp or the smart plug and how it works. I also have a remote for the lamp BUT if I turn the lamp off through the app I cannot use the remote to turn the lamp on because it inactivates the outlet. It makes sense but isnt something I properly considered before using it for this particular lamp. I also plugged my fan into one and since its the type of fan that turns off when unplugged and wont turn on when plugged back in, it has to be manually turned on after activating the outlet. This will only be useful for turning off the fan if I forget to do so when I leave the room. I need to consider more places that these can be used in a more practical way. I suppose if you have an appliance that you want to keep plugged in but not have a phantom power draw when the appliance is off, these would likely work. Or if you have things with proper on/off switches these would likely work for that as well. My kid has a tendency to leave his bedroom light on whenever he leaves the house so this should work for him to turn it off remotely. All in all this is a good price for the amount of plugs. It would be better if they could have made them to fit two to an outlet, though.

> 3 dayOne reviewer said you have to use a third party app. Well of COURSE you do, all devices will require some app on the phone to control. I only buy things that use the SmartLife app since that way I only have to have ONE app on the phone to control my lights, devices, etc... These work with smartlife. Another thing they do that the previous set I have did not - they will persist a power setting. So if you have a power loss or brownout for a moment, if this was powered on at the time, it will power back ON again when power is restored, unlike many that always default to off again. But two of the four here failed utterly being able to connect to any app. They would not connect. I couldnt get them to reset to get the fast blinking light needed to join to the SmartLife app. Ive tried the power button hold, the plug/unplug multiple times, all the normal things that are supposed to put these into the setup mode needed. Two of them, nothing worked. The two that came up in the setup mode with the fast blinking lights were immediately found by smart life and able to connect, get named, and worked fine. But a 50% failure rate is too high.

> 3 dayNo more dozing off with appliance left on burning energy, these smart plug have a sleep timer option and can be operated using Alexa and Google voice :) they are easy to program since the instructions lead you step by step. I wish I had gotten these sooner, and I’m recommending to all :)

> 3 dayThese smart plugs are OK. Setup was very easy. However, one of the plugs I received didnt actually work. It connected but did not turn off the device when instructed to do so. (just a desk lamp). I connected another plug from the box instead and it worked fine. Not a big deal for me, since I only needed two of the four.

Greater than one weekThese smart plugs are AMAZING for Christmas light decorations. They plug into a standard plug, connect via an app to your phone then you can control the on & off with your phone. You can set a timer also for the outlet to be turn on/off at specific times. These worked great for our Christmas lights this year. I set one up outside and one inside both attached to power strips and was able to set my lights to go on/off automatically instead of having to go around plugging/unplugging them all. They are not rated for outdoor use and I do not suggest them for that. I had it plugged into a well covered outlet and ran an extension cord/power strip from it out side so no weather got to the plug itself. They work great - no discernible loss of power or wavering or heating up. Super easy way to get a smart home set up going.

10-06-2025I already have probably 20+ wifi plugs throughout the house. Lots of different brands and for the most part they are all about three same size. I can not fit two on one outlet. When I saw that these were claiming to be mini and that you can fit two on one outlet I got excited and ordered them. Then I was sad to find out I still can not fit two on one outlet. They are the same damn size as the rest! These were much easier to connect and set up. They were found much faster than any other plug Ive used before so for that I will keep them.

> 3 dayThese smart plugs work great, just like the other I have. No problems with any of them. Smart plugs are big, require you to install and app and, if you want them to be voice controled with Alexa or other assistant, youll need to install the password to give it access. Thats simply how any smart plug works.

> 3 dayThese were immediately recognized by the Gosund app when I selected to add a device, and they were automatically connected to Alexa. I already had the app installed, so the experience may be different for a new install. I can control via the Gosund app or Alexa. These plugs are small, so they don’t obstruct a second regular plug from being plugged into a duplex, but two of these smart plugs cannot be plugged into the same duplex. I am able to use two side-by-side on a surge protector. I have been using these for a few weeks with no issues. I have them scheduled to automatically turn on grow lights for my indoor plants and I can easily turn them on/off via voice commands whenever I want.

> 3 dayThese are Very Nice smart wifi plugs. This are quite useful for remotely controlling and using voice commands with Alexa and Google . You can control home devices plug in the Alexa outlet at any time anywhere. Best part no hub and subscription are required, just plug it into an outlet, connect a device to the smart outlet, then wirelessly control home appliances whenever and wherever. The replacement plug receptacle is compact and you can carry it on the go.
