I received the Faraday bag three days after I placed my order, which I consider to be very fast shipping! I was so excited to see the box outside my door, especially since most vendors take forever to ship an order. When I opened the box, I saw the bag in a simple plastic bag, which to me was a bit disappointing since I paid a lot for the Faraday bag. However, what should matter is if the product works not how it is wrapped, which is why it gets five stars. The Faraday bag does not have handles or any way to carry the tablet, except for the roll up method it provides to close the bag. At first glance, the material seems a bit cheap, but looking at it closely, you can see that it is made with special material to shield the tablet and is very durable. To test it out, I put my tablet in the bag and it instantly disconnected from the wifi. I also put my phone in the bag and it disconnected from the smart watch, even though the bag was right next to the watch! No matter how close you are to the bag or object in the bag, any phone or tablet in the bag gets disconnected. Also, when I placed the phone in the bag, I instantly lost reception, there was no wireless signal. The material that is used to make the bags is also water resistant. When I poured water on the bag, it kept my items inside dry and protected. The Faraday bag is very impressive due to what it is able to do. This bag meets my needs when it comes to a shielding bag and it is worth the price I paid.

I tested this and it does prevent your phone from communicating with the cell towers, which is the means by which your GPS or other trackable features, or microphone would become useless to someone trying to track you. The microphone would still work obviously if it was compromised but it cant send the data anywhere.

I am on the road weekly for site work and have lots of electronics for my design work to carry. I wrote more about signal damage to my equipment more than anything. The Mission darkness faraday bag really does block incoming and outgoing signals. I had the bag tested and it really works. The material and build quality is great. So, I bought more.

Pros: This faraday bag is huge! I could fit just about anything in this bag except for my apple macbook. The large space of this bag ensures that you could forego many smaller separate bags and opt for this larger bag to accommodate all of your devices. This bag works quickly! As soon as you fold over the top of the bag, any and all signals to and from the device are cancelled out. Cons: I wish that there was a better system than merely just folding over the top of the bag. While it works, I just wish that there was a better system. Other than that, great product!! Bought this to replace a previous perchase that I used for my MacBook Air 11”. This fits my new MacBook Air 13” perfectly. It’s durable and sleek and has enough padding to be suitable for daily transport to office. And of course, gives me security from EMP and protects my computer investment and data. With the current unstable world situation, an EMP attack is not unthinkable.

I purchased the Mission Darkness medium, non-window, Faraday Bag (MDFB-M-NW) for Tablets. It is of a good size, and easily holds my tablet, cell, and car keys, for which it was intended. I have owned this product for about a week now, and have tested it under a variety of conditions and in a variety of locations. An outstanding product. It looks good, is well made, easy to use, and has effectively blocked 100% of every EM signal type I have thrown at it. In terms of quality, cost, and efficacy, I know of no Faraday Bag on the market superior to this one.
