I have very thick hair and a ton of it. So much so that everytime I go to a salon that is all i hear. well it has always been a problem for me to find products to use. i have used everything from regular shampoo/conditioners to those meant for Black women. i am as white as they come but i have Italian roots so i guess i was inbetween. my hair was either waaay too dry or too oily. i read about Mixed Chicks in a magazine a while ago and finally ordered some and i have to say - i have no need for any other hair products! this stuff is amazing! after just the first use i could feel the difference. my hair felt soo silky and soft and i am reccomending this to all my friends. this line has made such a huge impact on my life and all i can say is try it! you wont be disappointed!!!

Although I was initially put off by the sticker price on this product and other Mixed Chicks products, I soon discovered that the shampoo, detangler and leave-in conditioner will last me 8-12 months. Very little shampoo is required for each wash and it does a thorough job on my daughters curly hair. She has very fine medium curls. I love to use the shampoo on my fine hair as well. I pair the shampoo with the detangler on both of us, even though my hair is straight. My daughter does need the leave-in conditioner, though, as her mixed heritage has resulted in what appears to be more porous hair. Having forgotten his hair products on a visit, my boyfriend used the products and now wont use anything else. He has wavy hair that came to him through his Scottish/Danish ancestry. The shampoo seems to condition without stripping, but the key product that brings out shiny gorgeous curls (or straight hair) is the detangler).

This is a god send when paired with the conditioner

Hive been using this for quite a while and I love it! Its perfect for curly hair! I also use the lesvebkn conditioner and regular conditioner. I dont have to use any hair spray or gel.

My daughter has thick, dry, kinky hair and this is the only thing that seems to manage it.

If you have curly hair, then Mixed Chicks products are a must! I get so many compliments on my hair since I started using their products. :)
