MMOBIEL Digitizer Compatible with iPad 4 (Black) 9.7 Inch Touchscreen Front Display Assembly Incl Tool kit

I bought this to fix my daughter’s 2012 iPad 4. It came in on time and was packaged well. That is about where the good stops. Background, I used to work for icracked fixing these devices and never had these issues. So having my background in fixing these devices I did everything correctly as far as removing the old. I ended up removing everything since I was replacing the batteries at the same time. When everything was pulled out I made sure to fix the dings in the corners as they can cause issues with applying the touch screen later. I installed the battery, put all components back in. The screen went in easy enough. Once the cables were in place I installed the lcd screen and tested the touch screen, the full screen didn’t work so I tried re attaching the cables for the touch screen and retesting with a little improvement. I did this a couple of times just to make sure it wasn’t my fault. I have had issues before where the screen wouldn’t completely work unless full placed so I went forward with the placement without adhesive... no improvement. But I was still hopeful maybe fully placing it with adhesive might give me a Miracle.. so I adhered it to the iPad heating the edges just enough to activate the adhesive. Then placed weight on the screen and left to adhere for the next 30 hours. Turning on the iPad I found the same issues with the touch screen but the adhesive seemed to work. While waiting for another screen to come in I would tinker with the the current one hoping for it to start working, which is the opposite of what happened. Not only did the rest of the screen fully stop working, the adhesive came up... yeah so this was a full disaster. 0 stars if possible. Tools were useful.

Nachdem ich bereits das zweite Mal das Display meines Ipads getauscht habe, weiß ich dieses Set sehr zu schätzen. Das Zubehör ist vollkommen ausreichend für den Tausch. Die Tatsache, dass der Rahmen mit dabei ist, war für mich entscheidend, da mein alter etwas defekt war. Bei diesem Display steht kein Kleber über den Rand hinaus. Alles hat perfekt gepasst.

The halfupper side of the screen doesnt work. So bad at all, the iPad is useless

loved the screen and everything it came with but digitizer was defected had a dead row going across top portion of screen and when i tried to return they were out of product but like that it came with proper screen and bezel.

The home button didnt work and I know for sure it was the home because I ended up having to take the home button off of the old screen in order to have a function home button

This product did not work at all . There was no response on the digitizer. I reinstalled the old broken one and it worked. This product judging by the reviews had had some real quality and testing issues. Just stay away for your own sake.

Not for the faint of heart if you havent repaired this sort of thing before, but certainly doable. It sticks in the frame good enough for me. It may not be 100 percent perfect but my case has a couple dings on it too. This iPad does nothing besides sits in the choir loft at church for controlling the sound board feed to our worship service streaming audio, and this screen replacement works perfectly fine for my usage. Would buy again but hope I dont have to!
