Perfect as a second monitor with my laptop. Make sure you go to settings and click extend screens before designating 1 and 2. No need for another outlet as it connects via hdmi. Watch you tube to set up the monitor on its base as the written directions are confusing. Worth every penny.

I just got this monitor the other day and Ive already used it for several projects. It connects quick and easy to both my Galaxy s20 and my Dell laptop computer as a secondary monitor. The connection is simple and seamless, and the picture quality is amazingly crisp for work and for play. If you are looking for a quality monitor you can take anywhere, I would highly recommend this one!

As an editor, I need a close approximation of picture quality and colors (even though Im not color grading with it)... and everyone needs it bright enough or whats the point? Out of the box and after initial settings, I didnt think it was bright enough and was ALMOST GOING TO RETURN IT ... BUT AFTER TESTING other settings I discovered these settings made all the difference: select BRIGHTNESS ->ECO -> MOVIE MODE. With MOVIE MODE and USER color settings (instead of cool or warm) the MNN best replicates my MACBOOK PRO M1 display. The other modes/configurations were simply not bright enough even though at 100%. So NOW I I can say that it seems fantastic. I purchased at 42% off - $116 - so a huge value for the price. I am considering getting another but I dont really need another - but thats how much I like it. I got the monitor stand Amazon said others were buying with it - and its great. Its the TriPro Tablet Stand -Portable Monitor Stand,4.72 for $24.99. THE ONLY ISSUE SO FAR: Turning it vertically with the TriPro stand (that the MNN recommends as well) means that the USB C cord barely clears the surface - which means the cord could push the monitor out of the stand. To avoid that, I am limited on the tilting. I want to have it more upright but have to have it at about a 20(?) degree angle in order for the cord to not get stuck. BUT I WILL RESEARCH a different USB C cord that doesnt protrude vertically. UPDATE: I got a new cord for $11 to clear the bottom when monitor is displayed vertically on lowest level of stand. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FY32M1Q?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) HOWEVER, I did not realize this stand slides upward so a new cord wasnt entirely necessary but still good to have for this lowest display.

Performa so far exactly as I needed. Take it with me on video shoots - it replaced bigger bulkier wider footprint monitors. Totally happy with these two that I bought and probably will purchase more.

I hate when people say its great for the price. The price was great and the picture is ok without any display hiccups. However, theres a few things that could have made this a great buy. 1) The display brightness is less than desirable. Its dim, even with the brightness turned all the way up. Its ok but give me 100 to 200 more nits. 2) The best way to put this is the speakers are horrible. I mean total garbage. Its a portable monitor so why not make the speaker good enough not to need speakers. What good is a remote monitor if you need to carry speakers? Sure you could use a headphone or ear buds. But again just make the speaker at least adequate. I would even work with blue tooth enabled. 3) You cant use the speakers from the laptop if youre using this monitor. Or at least I havent found a way to do so. So Im not going to say this monitor is good for the price. Im going to say if youre ok with the areas this monitor falls short then go for it. Or pay more for a monitor that will not have these challenges.

I must say this exceed my expectations. I work from home and needed an extra screen. This is perfect. The screen is big and set up is so easy. Price is very affordable. Arrived very quickly… actually got it the following day. Can’t wait to start using it . Very impressed

Easy to connect to my Surface Pro 7. The monitor is plenty bright for my work, which is multi-screen spreadsheets and websites. Im not a gamer and I dont watch videos on the screen so I cant comment on the response rate. This was a great value and definitely exceeded my expectations. The packaging was excellent and protected the monitor for shipping. The package included an adjustable screen stand, video cables, external power supply, extended warranty by just scanning the QR code to register, and plenty of useful setup instructions.

This works perfect with my Dell work laptop. I like to go to coffee shops to work and having a larger second screen is really nice to have on the go. It fits perfect in my computer bag as well. It comes with all the necessary hookups. Also, it was delivered the same day I ordered.
