I really just needed an inexpensive portable second monitor for when I travel. I can’t function these days without a 2nd monitor. This MNN monitor was exactly what I was looking for. Great price. Much better picture than I was expecting. The stand is pretty good and provides good protection. It is lightweight. Includes all the necessary cords. I do wish the brightness was higher at startup (it does not remember the last setting since there is no battery), but it is easy enough to change. Five stars.

After having tried smaller - lighter dual screens that attach to each side of my laptop - I found the quality was just not there - seemed a bit of a light weight - even a bit cheap. This unit is SOLID and the picture quality is just as good as my standard 24 monitor(s) I use on my tower system. The downside is the weight of the unit (Portable Monitor M156F01); however, both my 15 Lenovo laptop and this monitor fit in my backpack - just a bit heavier - yet still manageable. Overall - If the screen is as good as I think it is - I will probably sell my tower and 2 standard monitors and use my laptop and this screen as both my primary and portable system. Overall - my initial impression is very positive with the quality and the price, which was over $100 less than comparable screens.

I was looking for a monitor for on the go- for my Switch, and I think I found what I needed! The manual says that you can connect the original switch charger and connect the switch to the monitor. It didn’t work for me but im using a 5V- 2A phone charger and it works well. (It’s usually for Android phones) I connect the USB to the charger and the USB-c to the monitor and my switch to the monitor using usb-c to usb-c and I’m all set. I actually PREFER using the phone charger than my original switch brick- it’s lighter and I don’t want to lose it when I’m out. I’m glad they provide 3 cables in the box too! I used a power brick to power up the monitor and use it with my switch and it worked flawlessly! The thing that caught me off guard and surprised my was connecting my android phone with a usb-c connector to the monitor and it turned into a desktop-like experience- MY PHONE powered up the monitor- no other power supply. So weird but good- and who’s knows how this option can be further explored. Oh yeah…The image quality is very good too! The colors are a not OLED quality but they’re pretty good. I tried the HDR option, but you really have to move the buttons around to get an image you want. Overall I’d say it’s a good buy!

I have a dual monitor system at my Work and Home office. However, from time to time I do travel and work from other spots where it would be way too difficult to bring a second monitor. This purchase was the perfect solution!!! I just started using it this week while I am at my in-laws and the set up was easy and efficient. The MNN Portable Monitor is so colorful and vibrant once it’s paired up with a device of your choosing. I’ve used it with my Nintendo switch and my laptop and haven’t run into any problems. The default settings are already great, but I turned up the brightness a bit for the best clarity. Video games are very responsive and crystal clear.
